Posi-vibes for Mt5's nephypoo... I hope he is back with his mummy where he belongs soon!

CY.. She may be surprised and the benefits of being free'd from the pain and discomfort from the cyst may help once she has recovered from the initial op. The ops are fairly straight forward and quick. My mother had several operated on over 15 years, she has no ovaries now so gets cysts in her boobs instead.. We can only hope for the best and I am sure they wouldn't subject her to unecessary risk.

large carrier bag of ebay parcels posted, and another bag full to go tomorrow!
I completed my todays list.. Upstairs vacuumed, binbag flung inc. bin emptying upstairs, quote got and windows ordered.. I have another £600 to save before the end of June!!!

I am so incredibly, overwhelmingly tired... I need to sleep for 1000 years.

Thanks for the prayers and support. He has had a transfusion, early indications are that it has helped. Further tests to be done in next 24 hours. There is something wrong with his blood.
  • Sagaris agree with you about the weather, I don't have a tumble dryer and hang things on a clothes horse and put them in the spare room, they do take 2 days to dry mind, but i just give them a good shake and they never need to be ironed, our clothes never look creased.
Macpep - good luck with the interview, hope it goes well
Cyclingyorkie i had keyhole surgery and was very nervous, but woke up after the op and was home within a couple of hours, im sure she will be fine, best wishes to her
Dontknowanymore yes flying definately has helped me heaps, i have a real thing towards paperwork, strange when i have worked in offices most of my life, but never get on top of my own - well i have just a week ago, hopefully i can keep it up good luck with your friendship
Lamewolf - best wishes to you
Hollyh positive vibes on their way to you
mumto5 so sorry to hear your news, off to bed in a mo and will be saying a prayer for little william
  • Hope everyone recovers well.

Spent the day 1. picking paint in B&Q. I think I finally have the colours for upstairs bathroom and landing.

    2. eating IKEA lunch. They've made their superstrong coffee weaker :(

    3. cleaning out behind under TD and WM.

    4. sweeping kitchen floor.

    5. turning compost heap, planting rose, dicentra & pyracantha, putting up trellis, general weeding and drinking tea on back doorstep.

I am shattered and achey, but the garden is coming along. And the cat helping to dig holes whilst a crow perched, watching us dig, for nearly an hour, made me smile.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Mumto5 -thinking about your LO and hope it's good news soon.

CY - years ago I had a cyst too and a 'wait and see' policywas used - the pain was awful but no one would do anything, then when I was pregnant with DD1 it increased in size and it was touch and go whether they would have to do an emergency op to remove it - with all the associated extra risks to the baby! Fortunately it didn't come to that but a worrying time nevertheless - I think if they recommend to remove it I'd have it done like a shot!

    Neveah - thinking of you.

LW - sending positive vibes your way!

Makes all my gripes seem tiny in comparison - will check through the list and have a bash later - not doing brilliantly so far this week but little acorns and all that! Mind you, the crochet shawl is growing......so my time is being used productively!

Good wishes to everyone today - shower time now!

Flying went by the wayside over the last couple of days, and I'm out for dinner and a movie tonight with a friend, so I've reduced the list right down. There's still a LOT to do this week, and I'm out for a boozy lunch on Saturday, so I'm going to be having a lot of HHCs I think! The house still isn't back in the state it was in, but I know how easy it is to get lazy/complacent, so I'm making sure that doesn't happen.

Mr F has been left with the dishes to do and he's going to hoover the stairs. My clumsiness excuses me from that task :D
