Natty loved the feathered friend updates. My nesting blackbirds are very busy with the worms in our lawn. They are most indignant when our Jay visits the nutter and go squawking mad, they don't want the nuts, just don't like him.

Lunch done so going next door for an hour, then back for a teabreak before another hour.

    Good afternoon,
well here I am at the paid stuff, again. Bit of a later start today as had to take tots to nursery before I could leave, but am well ahead on hours so shouldn't need to do 7 today :p. I took the last parking spot in the cheap place today. It's £3.50 per day, compared to the nearest multi storey which is £12.50 !!!

Wednesday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area

    Level 3
Wash your bathroom mats and shower curtains etc (ah, will do this and replace towels etc)
    HHI
[STRIKE]Clean the mirrors [/STRIKE](is it really odd that i dont have mirrors in my bathroom? except the downstairs loo, which i did yesterday as i was doing all the downstairs glass)
    Declutter mission:

So, I just need to change all the towels and bathmats, and tidy my papers. I will also shop around as my home insurance renewal came through. it's not high, but worth checking i have enough cover. And I still want to clean the sofa. I got rid of lots of tops for charity last night so will look through jeans and casual bottoms tonight I think...
I did clean the kitchen up before we left, although there were some toys strewn about upstairs...

I brought my salad today, lol, I have just sent my boss to the canteen to get me some coleslaw haha :D

Hi all; thanks for all the kind wishes re my shoulder. It's a smidge easier this morning, though still very sore, and far from right; but hopefully we've started on the journey to sorting it now.:o I will be careful, not do anything to aggravate it if I can help it, and will do my "isotonic" (I think the word was) exercises, I promise.:o

Congrats Auntie Mumto5:D glad young William has arrived safely! Mr LW's eldest nephew is a William.:o
    Tell her to foxtrot oscar:)
:rotfl:Love it! Mr LW's favourite is to tell them "sex and travel".:D

our latest rescue beagle has undergone a personality change since we had him (allmost 6 months) - he's had many homes and had been beaten so was very suspicious and fearful, stand-offish and would not even make eye contact with us - our older one used to sit on the sofa with us and he would watch the 3 of us wondering what was going on! Now it's a battle to see who will get to the sofa first - he has totally changed, loves to be a lap dog in the evening (whilst carefully avoiding my crochet!) and moans away with pleasure - they get on pretty well together too despite the 5 year age gap - so there's an incentive to get my flying done quickly, so I get a decent place on the sofa!
Awww, bless him! It's amazing what patience, kindness and tlc can do, isn't it?:o

Natty I loved the birdie update - we have Mr & Mrs Blackbird carting grass clippings away, as well as Walter Pigeon, and I saw Lord Magpie helping himself to some yesterday, so I think they've all got residences in the "hedge" at the back. I say hedge - it's a row of ancient trees, there's crab apple, blackthorn, hawthorn and goodness knows what else; it's very tall, and we're only allowed to trim what overhangs the garden, not cut the top (if we could even get to it!!):)

Bathroom day on my own schedule today; but the bath's already done by Mr LW (he takes the bath lift out to clean it weekly), so it won't be too onerous. I washed the bath mats this morning, and Mr LW put them out on the line for me:A Getting them in is easy - put the cart underneath, remove the pegs with my "good" arm, and let gravity do the rest!:rotfl:

    Afternoon all

I need to be in so badly my house is a right state. In my defence i've been laid up with a god awful virus for the best part of 2 weeks (highlights included the gland at the back of my head swelling massively.. being covered head to toe in a rash.. my whole body swelling up.. the most awful headaches.. being sick) and have done the absolute bare minimum. Thankfully i'm feeling much better now. :D

Can i have some positive vibes for neveah please. Her DH is having a tough time at the moment and we're all very worried. She was great when i was ill and rang her in tears and took me to the Drs twice and Ds2 to and from school and did some washing and washing up for me.

Natty i love the bird updates. I'd love to feed the birds but my neighbours cat who thinks he lives here would more than likely eat them if i encouraged them in. There's 2 very brave birds i see in the garden quite a lot. One's black with a bright orange/yellow beak and the other one is brown. I always worry for their safety if the cat's out because he's brought me presents on more than 1 occassion. :(

Ds1 is in school rehearsing for his drama exam so i'm going to have to go and pick him up at some point today and i also need to go to the post office.

Cream crackered. Just done 3 hours non stop in next doors garden, removing stinging nettles and brambles along with rubble and huge weeds. Looks great but only conquered about 1/4 of what needs to be done in the back, not alone the front. Still a nice earner. Had a robin keep me company and so tame it was. Often just inches away from me as I turned the soil. Worms its was gobbling up itself but collecting beak loads of insects to fly away to feed it's young I expect.

Just having a cuppa and then:

    Get the washing in
    Cut our back lawn
    Cook dinner
    Feed cats
    Get Changed
    Go to cricket

    3x wm done & 1xTD

Ist day of DS2 assessment by specialists done and he enjoyed the day. I had finished my meeting and was told to leave him at about 10.30 so I headed off to hang around a local outlet village. I'm exhausted but came home with lots of cadbury treats for my boys and some Freddos for me (1 per day ;) )
    Day 2 tomorrow.

Hopefully I will get a quick outline of the results tomorrow then the report will take a week or so then maybe the local authority will finally decided on a new school for him.

Time to put my chef's hat on back later xx

Washed towels and bath mats and. Hung to dry. Sorted paperwork. Checked over the budget for r next couple of months and estimated tax credits for year - expect they will drop significantly, but then I am getting the widowed parents allowance now which really helps. I don't think we are destitute but my largest bill by far is nursery, my 3yo gets funding, but it's still nearly £800pcm and they only go 3 days a week...

Still need to clean the sofa... Theme emerging here... And will sort a few more clothes tonight.

At home with the tots tomorrow. Need to cut the grass and strip a bit of wallpaper. Gawd knows how I'll get that done...
