Hi
thanks for the lovely welcome, was very sweet of you all,
Heres how I got on,
tided and hooved through hall, living room, and stairs, also ran the duster round, cleaned the windows downstairs only, cleaned glass,
put all the clutter away in its proper place in the kitchen- I have work surfaces again!!!
also managed to get two meals batched cooked, the veg curry is just finishing off, I don't get in most nights till 7pm, so cooking in advance is really important if we want to eat before 8.30pm!!!
I'll check the list in the morning see what I can get done before work.
hope you all have a good evening

Hello all. A good day, managed to do all that applied from today's list. New cooker arrived and we've just had first meal cooked on it. Quite nice to have a hob again.
Why oh why is freecycle such a faff. I do the right thing and wait 24 hours to get all the requests, then put all the names in a hat to be fair. Then when I let the person know, they can't pick up for a week or more blah blah blah. Ok rant over.
Have a good evening.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Evening ladies, and a warm welcome to those trying out for the first time (sorry cant remember names as I have brain drain after a late night last night watching a film adn then having to get up early for work)
I was a lazy slob last night and did nothing even leaving the washing up for DH to do today which surprisingly he did. Have just munched a burger tea as DD made them in foodtech so now going to see how much of Mon and Tues I can get done.
I know theres lots of things i want to say so forgive me if I forget anyones special interest events
Mumto5 - well done on the walk, one for achieving it, and two for achieving it in a really good time. Hope all goes well for your sisters nappy event
jjef - well done and good luck with the placement
LW - hope that shoulder eases with exercise
Dusty - is your son at uni in Leeds or is he due to go soon (cant remember how old he is)
Piggers - Growly bearget it looked at, you know it could be something brewing under the gum and they hurt a lot and will make your face swell (voice of bitter experience)!
Right going to find the list and get on.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Freecycle is annoying. I had one woman send me abusive emails because I didn't wait a week for her to respond when I asked if she still wanted said item. I have her 4 days and offered to someone else. She came back to me asking for it the following week, then had a right go at me!
Anyway!
Got in from work at 3.30 and cleaned the mirrors, photo and pic frames and glass, the glass dining room table, the cupboard, coffee tables and mantel.
Still need to clean the sofas and wash the cushion covers. Bit tired so might leave them.
Also need to get bags and clothes ready for tomorrow and do my packup.
Hugs and pain-free vibes to all who need them, and hi to newbies.
