    Morning all

Just skimmed over the lists for the week, and I think we are done! Didn't get back into the wardrobe, but the bedroom carpet is up and ready to take downstairs. Some will fit in the bin, and some will go in the garage with the bed. For now.

So this weekend I need to finish stripping walls, and get the polyfilla out, and do a bit of sanding.

Other than that, just try to stay on top of laundry and kitchen and toys.

    Not much then :rotfl:

Have a good weekend all, it's peeing down here...

    Good morning :D

I have been awake since about 7, watching the olympic torch start it's journey (on telly, from my bed :p) I went to bed early, as I have a stinking cold again, and felt blurgh :(
I have popped downstirs to make tea, let the dog out, feed the dog & empty DW. I am now back in bed!

I ought to get up as DH is on his way home. He has been in Scotland all week, & was supposed to be home last night. Unfortunately, on their way out of the building (with suitcases), the female work colleague he was with slipped on the stairs. She ended up with stitches in her head, a sprained ankle & a broken arm :eek: He said he couldn't just go to the airport & leave her :A She would never manage her luggage. Anyway, it is her husband picking them up from the airport ;) So he spent most of the evening at the hospital. They got an early flight, and are now at Stansted.

DD2 has just come in to complain about the impromtu party next door had last night. I remember hearing something, but it takes a lot to disturb me!! :D

OK. I need to get up & shower, then I may look at the lists. The weather seems good today, so I may have to do something in the garden. I still need to get my blueberry :)

Hugs & spoons to all those that need them.

Morning all. I'm on a bit of a go slow this morning, I would normally be out shopping at this time on a Saturday, but never mind.

Tried to make the almond loaf last night but burnt it in my new oven. I will get used to its ways and try again another time.

So far today, I've cleaned the fridge and done a meal plan/shopping list for the week. About to wash up, vacuum living room, and get dressed for shopping.

Just noticed someone wants something I have but don't need on freecycle, so some decluttering will be done too.

Don't think I'll get in the garden today as it's a bit damp here, but sure that I'll find something else to do. Probably read a book again!
Spend less now, work less later.

Never got a chance to get on yesterday, was at work half day then home to get ready for the interview, I got a call to say I had been unsuccessful but it was such a close call they were keeping my details. In a way I am glad as if they had offered me it, I would have had to knock it back at it was too much of a drop in salary, but it made me realise how different a place my office is to work in (not in a good way). I have another couple of applications to fill in which I will do over the weekend, here is whats left on the list, will work through it this afternoon, need to go get some shopping this morning then get something for DS little friends party this afternoon, enjoy the rest of your day everyone x
