Hello lovely, you poor thing, have you tried garlic capsules, they are supposed to put the blighters off? I rarely get bitten and if I do they rarely swell, horrid tasting blood my OH reckons :rotfl: Whereas OH gets chomped on all the time and of course he's oh so sweet :rotfl:

Yes I think you are right. OH response to my having another cold! But you've only just had one! Does he think I'm enjoying feeling carp or maybe being greedy and not sharing them around? :rotfl: He can have the blessed thing with my well wishes if he wants cos I don't want it, even if it is a present from my darling DGDs.

Made red pepper soup yesterday for lunch today but was supposed to be red pepper and tomato, only found out half way through cooking that OH had used the passata I had and didn't replace it. We've always got either tinned tomatoes or passata in the cupboard, along with tomatoes in the fridge I didn't even look. Tried using the couple of cherry tomatoes and some tomato puree but didn't have quite the same result so soup was a bit peppery.
In the end I didn't have a NSD today as bought a bread roll, 80p, a chocolate muffin, 80p and a box of tomato passata, 30p, to add to my pepper soup. Then treated myself to 2 magazines, Glamour, £2 and Red, £3.90 both with free skincare worth in excess of £10 so a bargain really.
Probably going shopping tomorrow so not likely to have one then either.
OH is working this evening so I've had a couple of hours, (well actually only been home just under 2 as long day in work), to myself and decided to make the most and catch up on MSE DFD whilst watching Holby City. Such a treat to have the laptop and the remote :rotfl:
Going away with work again next week and quite looking forward to it, even though it involves a very long day on Thursday as I'm meeting 2 clients, one after the other, and then catching a train home for 6 hour journey. Planning to take 50 shades with me.
Anyway, off to lurk for a bit, may be back later.
