I'm glad you had a fun day granny and thrilled for you about fitting into the dress. What a great feeling! You should be able to lose the last couple of pounds without too much effort. Hurrah! for the Bridget Jones undies, where would we be without them?

Well that will teach me for posting before the day is over.

Spent the night at the hospital with DS, really bad lower stomach pains, initially thought it was appendicitis but now think its a blockage. Not sure yet whether he needs an operation. He spent the night on a trolley, well after sitting in a corridor waiting to be seen for 3 hours. I spent the night in a chair.

DDIL2B's parents picked DGD up at 8.30 to take DGD1 to school and had DGD2 for the day. After ringing our respective employers, we spent the day traipsing up to the hospital, off to Asd^, back to the hospital, off to pick the DGDs up to feed them and then back to the hospital so DS could see his DDs. Very stressful, tiring day and now I have lower stomach pain because I haven't eaten properly today.

Back up to the hospital in the morning so postponed my trip until next week, not sure what boss will make of that but I don't care.

Spent more than I planned to today, paid for us both to have coffee and then paid for DDIL2B to have roll, crisps and drink at the hospital and only realised when I got home that all I'd had all day was a yoghurt!

Luckily I had the last of my tomato/pepper soup left so eaten that tonight and now just waiting for OH to get home so I can let him know about today's events. I left the house at 9.30pm and he went to bed so doesn't know he even ended up at hospital. Nice to be missed eh!!!!!

Hope the rest of you have had a better time today.

    Speak soon Gx2 x

I hope your DS is better this evening and that you are getting some rest. Granny, one yogurt all day is not enough. I'm not sure I want our favourite glamorous granny fainting into the arms of some gorgeous intern....

Thanks for all your well wishes, seems to be one thing after another right now.

I am so tired today, I've got a really bad head and neck ache. Know I didn't sleep properly last night, despite being dreadfully tired.

Anyway DS is home, had an awful time bless him but didn't end up having on op in the end. Had an obstruction in his stomach which was causing his large intestine to spasm, enlarge and block, all at the same time.

I made carrot and spinach soup tonight and mushroom risotto with spelt instead of rice. very nice it was too. Now have the same for lunch and tea tomorrow and lunch sorted for Friday too.

Took the afternoon off work to go get DS, go shopping for them, pick DGD up from school and then take her to my office to get work so I can work from home tomorrow. Don't think boss was too happy about the afternoon off but basically tough.

Just ran around the diaries to catch up but too tired to post. Will try to be more interactive tomorrow/weekend. x
