It's a very low carb, low calorie plan written by DD especially for me. I eat protein shakes for breakfast, home made, vegetable soup for lunch, home made, 100gms of lean protein & 200gms of veg for tea and half a sachet of Hart!eys sugar free jelly crystals with 100gms of fat free natural Greek yoghurt for dessert. I avoided caffeine for the first week but since have 1 strong cup of filter coffee per day. I also drink 3 litres of water, no fizzy drinks and peppermint or buttermint tea.

No sauces, other than a splash of soy or made with an oxo cube. No processed foods, no dairy, no pasta, bread, rice or starchy veg. It's really not easy but it's getting the results I want and I feel healthy.

Feel free to borrow it x

I lost 6.6 of the 7.5lbs I put on over the festivities in my 1st week back on. Today I've lost the rest, so now I'm moving forward to my next stone off by Oz. (4 stone in 6 months if I succeed) x I do have a lot to lose though, which is why we've set it so strict to give me the results I need to stay motivated. Over a third of the way there already and almost in the next BMI bracket x

Wow that is strict! but I am guessing it is phase 1 of several so you will then have an update plan to move to for maintenance when you have got where you want and then updates as you change your lifestyle until it is your lifestyle.

Make sense to me and if you need to for health (and as you clearly have the motivation) I am not surprised you are seeing such good results!
I need to get to a lifestyle solution, trouble is my lifestyle is alien to me presently as until I have the blinking ankle operationsorted I cannot exerecise even walking for more than 20 mins is painful! Roll on June when this should be Sorted.

So here is to Oz and the weight loss!

    Thanks Beanie & Missrlr

Yes most definitely an evolving plan depending on results and set in stages. Up until I get to Oz this is the plan. Once there DD intends to do a range of tests to determine best next course of action. When I think of it £1,000 for this sort of dietary support & advice means the cost of my plane ticket is covered really :)

I'm sorry to hear your ankle is still not sorted and unlikely to be until early summer. I know that feeling so well. This time last year I was playing that waiting game, life on hold until and it wasn't fun. How much has changed in a year.

Got to DMs and she was delighted to see me and complimentary about my weight loss. Big sis was here too and she was amazed at my results. It was so nice not to be the massive little sister anymore. Although I've still got a fair way to go, I'm now normal sized, if not normal weight and don't hide from every mirror. It's a good feeling and one I've longed for for at least 8 years.

Missrlr, when I get an idea on maintenance plan, I'll forward you a copy x

Have a good week all, I intend to

Thanks for that Granny! That's too strict for me! I do the 5.2 and find the 500 cals twice a week hard. I guess that you're on 500 or less everyday. Reminds me of "Double Trouble" who followed the Lighter Life programme with great success losing many stones.
It reminds me that it is possible. Thank you.

I'm on approx 700 calories a day, so not quite as harsh as fast but it's still pretty hard some days. I don't think I could work on this level of cals as I'm tired a lot of the time, well exhausted actually, but luckily I can afford to focus on me right now. I'm feeling so much better, being in size 16 skinny jeans, with the odd size 14, is a far cry from my 22/24 of last summer. This plan is not for the faint-hearted but it's working and as you say Verbatim lighter life and similar diets comprise of lower cals than this.

Last night I got an email from 8A, regarding my flights. They offered me an upgrade to economy plus on the way home for £202, including pre-allocated seat. I couldn't get an upgrade flying out as it was an extra £1,000. Because I'm flying upgrade home I get double baggage allowance on the way out too which is good. I've got lovely seats both ways, window seat in a row of 2 in a quiet part of the plane each way. I'm beyond chuffed. 5 weeks today :j
