Thanks all, we had a lovely time despite the weather being a bit poor. I managed to put on 9lbs in the 2 weeks off my diet but have lost 7lbs already.
OH had some good news about an investment whilst away, I'm just hoping it comes to fruition as it will make things considerably better for our long term financial security. Won't happen for 6-12 months though so we'll keep plodding until then. £10pm is hardly difficult after all.
Next week I have a preassessment about my second operation and I'm looking forward to rocking up 2 stone lighter than I was. I'm going to suggest my op be held off until next May/June to give me time to lose some more weight. Fingers crossed they agree.
Had DGD2 on Wed and DGD1 on Thurs, both visits were delightful. It was clear they had both missed me for the past 2 weeks. Hoping to spend some quality time with little man next week as he's still a bit wary.
OH has given in since getting back from hols and the heating is on fairly often. He got home from work last night and commented on how cold the house was. I'd been home alone all afternoon so managed with extra layers.
