Sounds like you had the most delightful day with your DGC. You put a huge smile on my face just reading that. I think you should frame it, maybe with a photo of your DGC.

I agree with everyone above Granny.

DD1 did something similar. She had written something that had made her happy. She then decided to re type it using fancy typography, printed it out on a piece of 4x6 glossy photo paper. She stuck little silver and purple love hearts all around it, then framed it in a cheap Ike@ Clip frame. It has pride of place by her bed and she says it makes her smile each time she reads it. It does me too when I clean her room !!

Thanks everyone, it really was a day to treasure.

Last week passed by in a bit of a blur with work seeming to zap all my time and energy.

I finally had a consult from private health care referral which went well but still no sign of a date. Pretty disappointed as consultant said may be 6-8 weeks. I rang his secretary but she hasn't had my notes yet, so I've got to ring her back tomorrow.

Even 6 weeks is cutting it fine for holiday which is only just over 8 weeks away. I cried after appointment and then stuffed my face with rubbish. Had a really bad night as a result so won't be repeating that anytime soon.

Didn't have DGDs yesterday as they are all under the weather, spent the day tidying up instead. Feeling a bit achy today so taking it easy.

Most of last week was nsds, still not OD, £25 in purse, £45 in savings and £20 in emergency bank account. Pay day in 9 days so looking promising that I can stay in the black this month

Still not done my debt review, going to leave it until next month now

Oh no to the date still not being set thought it would move quickly now that you'd seen someone. So sorry ...I hope you get the appointment before the holiday. Would it help if you keep calling them so they can't forget about you?

I hope you manage to stay in the black it does sound promising and i'm sure you can do it xx
