Thanks Missrlr & Lucky and :hello: BL how nice of you to join us

This week has been a bit of a down week for me, just remembering the fun I had last year and wishing I had the money to go and see DD sometime in the nearish future.

Today was Granny day though and it was as usual delightful. Little man was desperately trying to jump off DDILs lap to get at Granny and the look of sheer delight on his face when he saw me was so fantastic. Made my week actually.

DGD2 spent the day amusing us with her easy charm and DGD1 was in a very happy and well behaved mood when she came home from school, it really is the day that I treasure each week.

Tomorrow I'll be one step closer to having my operation, which will help my health situation improve and therefore my quality of life. Not sure when it'll be but sometime in the next 4 months. I've taken the day off work to see my consultant, appointment is midday so hopefully it won't take too long

I really need to do a debt update as its been a while and I could do with blitzing the house before I'm incapable for a while, just need to find the motivation for both.

Spoke to DD this morning so that made today even more special.

Anyway off to bed now as I was up until the early hours this morning

    Night all

Granny day sounds delightful and how lucky you are to have one day a week to always look forward to.

I've noticed the posters have dropped off too, but that's the way of it, some return, some disappear never to be seen again.

Thanks all and :hello: Mrs PG, how lovely to "see" you

This was me preparing last night:

Today went well, on the list for next available short notice op, not sure how far down the list I am though.

Emotionally drained but feeling more positive

Did almost the last of my Christmas shopping today, just in case. I've never been so organised.
