Hi Missrlr and SKLF :hello: nice of you to drop in
I had a very quiet weekend, with both days being nsd, (so 4 so far this month). I made a lovely jacket, hat and almost finished a bag for dgd2. Next I'm going to do the same, but in different wool, for dgd1 and then a hat to match the jumper I've already made for dgs. Just have to sew the buttons on jumper and jacket. Then decide if they are for Xmas or for their hols at the end of the month.
Tomorrow is Granny day, not sure what we are doing yet, depends on weather and OH really.
Need to do a debt update soon. Hal1f^x dc want an up to date financial statement to determine if they will continue current agreement. So hope they agree to 12 month review this time. Need to get them all in line with each other, as its becoming a pain to worry about different reviews each month.
Hope you've had a good weekend and have a good week too.

Wow, your DGC are so lucky to have a Granny who can knit! It's lovely to see children dressed in clothes which have obviously been hand-made with love and skill (as opposed to brand-name stuff produced in 3rd world sweat-shops).
Tomorrow is Granny day, not sure what we are doing yet, depends on weather and OH really.
Hope the weather is ok where you are today, but am certain that even if you're inside watching the rain through your windows, you'll be having a wonderful time with your girlies!0 -

Thank you dear friends,
I love knitting, have done so since knitting that very 1st cardi for dd, 30+ years ago, I've even still got the pattern
It's made even more special now when I see their appreciative little faces when they try the latest item on. Both dgds tried the hat on today and my they looked cute. Dgd2 couldn't wait to tell her dm all about her new holiday outfit, so decision made.
one of my favourite photos of my girls is where they are wearing matching Granny cardis and meld one into the other, as though they are wearing one big jumper, its quite cute.
Went to an American diner today, with living s0cial voucher and had a fantastic time. Dgd2 was dancing to all the 50s music, it was so cute.
DGD1 came out of school full of smiles and tales of her great day
Had dgs for 10 mins on my own again tonight, unlike last week, (which was not only the 1st time dm had left him but also just after his injections), he was more than happy to sit on Granny cooing away with his baby sounds. Yet another truly delightful day.
Today wasn't a nsd but was a lsd so not worried about that.
night all

Aaw what a lovely day.
My DD was really upset that her favourite bag, (made of plastic bags, cut into strips) ..has broken after 3 years of heavy wear...seem to be lots of patterns and people saying how easy it is on the web..so think it may be the kick we need to get out the knitting needles..have you ever tried knitting with plastic?
