It's so tiring going back to work after being so unwell. It takes an age until you feel up to it again. Although with HIM lurking at every corner it might take a little longer!

The DGC sound delightful, I'm so glad you have them to light up your life. Before you know it the DGS will be sitting on your knee too :T

It is tiring going back to work after being ill, especially when you have to worry about an idiot of a boss... thank the lord I do not have that worry at the moment. I really feel for you, as I transferred from my last place due to health reasons (namely she boss) so I do understand. Like you I now will stick up for myself but that in itself is tiring... I just want to go to work, do my job properly come home and not be bothered... I have zero ambition...:) Look after yourself x
The time with your grand daughters sounds lovely that is really what life is all about :)

Thanks Piq and Bast I agree HE does make it more exhausting. HE didn't look too happy yesterday when I said I needed to do reduced hours again this week. I refuse to be bullied though as after all its only a job. I'm hoping to retire as soon as I get rid of the debt mountain.

DGDs are amazing and when I retire I can hopefully spend more time with them and their dear brother.

Thanks NTO we are going abroad for a city break, I cannot wait and OH is also counting the days down. 5 days, mostly short ones, in work for me and 8 sleeps x

I'm tired this morning, weird dreams last night had me moving around all night.

    Talk later Granny x

I feel like I've been MIA for a few days so was surprised to see it was only 2. It's felt like a long week this week for some reason and I'm so glad it's Friday.

I'm just about to go to work and am hoping to finish early. I've had a very non productive week this week, being unable to concentrate on anything for very long. I've so far managed 20 hours but have probably only done about 10 hours of effectual work. So I'm not going to hit my self imposed target of 30 hours this week, maybe 27. I'm still getting tired quickly and suffering from headaches, so I'll do as much as I can do without wearing myself out.

I have a meeting this morning and then need to do a case review this afternoon. I'm off then until Wednesday, with just 2 days in work before my hols.

Yesterday was a nsd, so have only managed 8 this month so far. However a lot of the others have been lsd and some spends were essential following last month's ill health.

DGDs coming to play on Sunday morning and I'm having a massage and facial on Monday, (Gr0up0n offer) and hair done on Tuesday, (L1v1ng S0cial deal). Then maybe a spray tan on Wednesday, (Groupon offer) and possibly brows and lashes tint, (special offer) in prep for our hols.

Right must stir my stumps and get off to work

    Have a good Friday everyone

Hello granny, I'm glad to see you're on the mend and trying to do to much as usual:) Just a word of warning, don't go too mad with work just before your holiday, you want to enjoy doing things not spend it lying in a strange bed! Unless that's the idea of course......a naughty break away with OH :rotfl:

As NL quite rightly says naughty time with OH, :rotfl:, as if, chance should be a fine thing. Oh well his loss, can't miss what you've never had :D

I am so tired tonight, don't really know how I got home tbh. At one point even felt my eyes closing. Not helped by the fact OH is in another one of his moods, wish he'd sort himself out. I'm choosing to ignore it and not react. He's working tomorrow morning and I'm so glad.

Only managed 6 hours today after all, but I had a nsd too. HE seemed to accept that I may have to do less hours next week too, well on the 2 days I'm actually in.

    Nice quiet day planned tomorrow
