    Morning all.

We are off to a wedding today and won't be home until tomorrow night. No idea when I will get chance to do the weekly shop. I think it's going to be a costly weekend.

The centre should be moist and cheesy but not doughy.
It sounds like you added a wee bit more liquid than was needed.
You will perfect it next time!!!:T
Thanks JJ, just another excuse to make another round!

Hi all, feel really bad that I'm not really contributing to the challenge this month. Must try and catch up with the last few pages.

Got a couple of shops to report, £15.24 at !id! last weekend which included quite a lot of crisps and chocolate as I was feeling sorry for myself (home alone as unable to find a dogsitter, DH and kids went camping). Today nipped down to Mr M as it opened and managed £15.14 on milk, ham, rolls, marge, ice lollies, 2 packs sausages, chick peas and the papers.

Going out to a bbq tonight, really looking forward to it. Should cheer DH up as he is working far too much at the moment, the joys of being self employed!

Going to make some bread pudding this afternoon, I save all the ends of the hm bread in the freezer til I've got a nice big pile then use the recipe off page 1. It is fan-bloomin-tastic!:D

    Have a lovely weekend everyone.

    Morning everyone

Am doing ok with the challenge so far and another NSD for me yesterday.

However, am now stressing myself as DS has invited 2 friends over for a sleepover. Three teenage boys in one room.....oh the joy of lynx!

Apparently, one doesn't like vegetables and the other is a vegetarian (and doesn't like vegetarian 'meat' substitutes). Really wanted another NSD day too!

Going to look at the recipes on first page to look for inspiration.

Hope you all have a good day.

Hi GC, you made me chuckle with the joy of lynx! Perfectly sums it up!

Have you tried quorn mince with loads of grated veggies added, made into a bolognaise sauce or shepherds pie? My two stepsons didn't know the shepherds pie wasn't meat, and didn't even know there were any veggies in it! I grated mushrooms in as well, which add to the meaty texture. There wasn't any left!

I'm going to do JJ's herby bread for lunch today! Yum!

That egg fried rice sounds lovely, we may have that for supper. I need to get back into menu planning and cooking for the week - I'm still in Spanish mode atm, although the weather is bringing me down to earth with a bump!

Have a good day all! CBx :)

Just spent £16.19 in Iceland, 1/4 of the bill was on teabags  at £4.25 but that was for 240 PG tips (the only brand OH will drink ). It was 50% extra free and as we do like our brew's this will keep us going for the next couple of months! Now have a nicely topped up freezer.
Also spent £14.27 on Thursday in Morry's on some fresh stuff, though some naughty cheesecake slices slipped into the basket somehow!:D and OH bought cans of coke which upped the bill, but at least he is nicely stocked up now. My shopping bills would be so much cheaper without him :p, he is expensive lol!!

Off to update my sig, and need to catch up on the last few pages. I've not been on much this week, so I need to catch up on everyone eles news.

This is the apricot, cherry and nectarine crumble I made tonight. Odd combination of fruit - but all needed using up. I added some OOD muesli to the crumble mix.

The crumble was yummy - we had a small portion with custard for breakfast. About 9 days of breakfast crumbles have gone into the freezer.
