Hi a £82.50 spend on delivery from A$da:eek: - I knew it would be bad as I need to start restocking freezer and also we just seemed to need everything. And I still need to get a few things from Sainsbugs that are cheaper there
. Mind you with children off this week and entertaining family and their friends, it was bound to be a bad week
.
Does anyone know when the best time to get YS food from Sainsbugs is? Thank you.Pay debt in 2012 #278 £2347/£5364

Went to L!dl and spent £26.92.
Will have to go to Mr T to get a few bits that i couldnt get (coconut yogurt and granola etc).
Just going to update my signature.
Edit: Does anyone have a recipe for mini pasties that i could freeze please?
Lidl luxury granola, fruit or nut has 50p off and down to £1.49 (or it was the other day) and is totally delicious!! :T0 -
Jumblejack - MrA has unsweetened soya milk for 59p - the white box of SP soya milk. I use it on my cereal every morning and it's lovely - well I think so. The rest of the family can't stand it, so it's my treat

Cheers. Problem is, I like the one that is sweetened with apple juice! Delishfozziebeartoo wrote: »Came across this when clicking from someones link elsewhere on MSE....

Cheers!!!!
Have you ever had a craving for chocolate but you've got none in.
Trying to resist the urge to buy some can be overwhelming.
Well I didn't cave in. I had some chocolate custard in so I rustled up a quick syrup micro pud. So wrong I know, but it appeased my cravings without a spend:j
Edit:
Not an idea combo but it stopped me buying chocs:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Great thank you, also the Rosemary Olive oil seems good. I am making a hamper of flavoured coils and vinegars for my DD for xmas and these will fit in nicely.Slimming World at target0 -
Afternoon all.
I've been a bit quiet on here, but I have been reading daily. Two small spends to add. One from last week and one from Monday. Need bread and milk today (again) but have asked OH to get some on his way home so I don't go out and spend. Hopefully he'll be too tired to get tempted too. Will update my sig later. I said that last week and still didn't get around to it. Am close to my £140 target already, but it's my first month so hopefully at a stab in the dark so hopefully things will improve next month.
Mum is still staying with me, we're planning on making cheese and onion pie for tea as OH was supposed to be out. Think theyve rearranged. Also we did a load of Decluttering etc earlier and now I'm pooped and hips are burning. Decided to have cold meat/cheese with salad and jacket pots so all stuff we have in anyway. Need to make rhubarb crumble for MIL tomorrow with my whoopsie rhubarb. If her OH will be there then I'll bake it together if not I'll prepare it with the crumble mix separately so they can bake over the weekend. If the ovens on I'll prepare my pie the.n
Adelight re:cake mix. I've never used one for a standard cake. Just looked on the AF website. For convenience I think it looks great, save measuring everything or worrying you've run out of something. Guess you would just take the right amount out? Wouldn't have thought it would be much cheaper to make from scratch? Although its been years since I've costed a cake so I'm sure someone will correct me:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

Having to spend £80 to save £5 really isn't that great a deal IMHO
Ha, I did spend over £40 in the end, but was a day too late to use the voucher:mad: Must try harder**Debt Free as of 15:55 on Friday 23rd March 2012**And I am staying that way

A planned trip to MrT today with DD and DS2. Noticed how little they pestered me today - must be growing up (10 and 8
) so the only thing I relented on was wraps for lunch instead of paninis - actually cheaper in the long run
Really weird as the bakery department had massive markdowns on bread and rolls when I was there. It was only 12.30pm and I managed to get 2 x ww malted danish at 5p each, 2 packs of 2 finest naan at 5p each and (drum roll please......) 12 packs of 6 warburton sliced rolls at 4p each:D:D:D:D That's the packed lunches sorted until the end of the Summer term :T:T
I'm actually going to take that 48p out of my second purse and charge myself 20p per roll so will make back just shy of £14 by the time I've used them up:j:D:j
Sorry to sound so immodest, but I never get bargains like that usually, so I'm very pleased
Total spend was £35.94. Mini TIH tonight with mini roasties, and brocolli and carrots. Off to update my sig.Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0 -
I'm not sure this will work. The other day, inspired by store cupboards here I rearranged my kitchen cupboards to make this the main "store." I keep flour/baking in another cupboard. There's also an area to the right where all the pasta, bread maker and other kitchen gadgets. It's not as deep as some of yours, but because of the area at the side I can't make full use of the depth. I also have a full inventory and a massive crate under the breakfast bar of "spares" thank you ladies for all the tips
Edit: does anyone know why the photo didn't appear. I used photobucket/snap bucket via iPad. I'm not very technical:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j
