Speaking of anniversaries, has anybody got a good deal in canvas photo prints?
I'd like to have one done as a golden wedding anniversary for my folks. I'm arranging a holiday at a later date but would like to give them something other than the cake and champers on the day.
So far I think Tesco are the cheapest although Lidl do a composite golden anniversary themed one too.
Can anyone suggest anywhere?
Hi, I am behind with thread so not sure what others have suggested but canvas prints regularly come up on groupon. Hth. I spent 3.49 in local shop on milk and (chocolate milk - its half term and sometimes I don't say no as often as I should) and 50p on carrots from someone's front garden.
Still don't know how to use up the chocolate hoop cereals bought from Lidl that the kids won't eat. Any ideas?"Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence."Weight loss challenge:j: week 1~ Napoleon Bonaparte

Hello Aldahbra - could you make some chocolate crispies with the hoops? Or you could crush them to mix with melted butter to make a cheesecake base. HTH2025 Fashion on the ration

I've spent £5.63 in Sainsbugs but managed to get some really nice beef steaks reduced to £2 which will easily do the 4 of us for a lovely meal.
Also bought strong white flour and yeast and made homemade pizza bases which I've never done before. (I'm quite proud of myselfand it was fun too!). Thank you to whoever it was on this thread who posted the recipe for this - I made a copy of it then but have only just got round to using it. It only cost about 54p for 8 pizza bases and I've frozen the 6 we didn't use
. Also made biscuits so a good day yesterday!!

Morning!
Went to Mr T last night, got some fab RTC bread and sausages and half price chickenAll tucked away in my freezer.
The shop is starting to take a bit longer now - I check all the RTC sections now, and if there are several ranges of the same kind of item (like the chicken breasts) I now check every single range to make sure I'm getting the best value - I'm learning!!
But the supermarkets are so sneaky  I wanted some mixed nuts, so I had to look in the fruit and veg section, the baking section AND the snacks section! They were cheapest in the snack section, which surprised me tbh. It taught me a lesson, and it made me think how many extra pennies they squeeze out of people...
Anyhoo, £13.44/£80.00 so far for the month :j2019 Aim: Save £10,000
