I am declaring June as a minor overspend of £4. I am happy with this. July will be a challenge as I will be unable to go shopping and am going to have stuff delivered. I am a bit worried that this will lead to more waste and I won't be able to shop in the markets for fruit and veg. It will be interesting to see the difference it makes. Well done to all and see you over in July.0

Hi everyone,
I've had to add some more receipts to my June 2012 budget. It now stands at £297.66 which is almost £100 over budget, and I do not begin my July 2012 buget until July 4th. It is having to shop at Budgens, and the Co-op for items I'm short, that brings me over budget. I've got some serious planning to do for July, in the hope that I can stay on track. I would love to be able to do a spreadsheet, but unfortunately, am unable to. My daughter can do one, but does not always have the time, and I would prefer to be able to deal with my own finances.
Anyway, I've enjoyed being part of this challenge, even though I was unable to stay within my limits.
Good Luck to everyone for July,
Regards,

Declaring ???? I know I am over but havent clue how much, its been a strange month for me, hospitally visiting and my Mums funeral yesterday, I havent eaten properly for weeks, chippy and mackies on the move. So although I am over I still have most of the grocery bought. Going to chill out for a couple of days and then take stock before deciding on Julys budget.
Hugs and best wishes Meg, take care of yourself at this difficult time.
Last spends of June, £19.13 in A1d1, £7.23 in Mr A's and £1.99 in Mr T's, so declaring at £127.09, and slightly under budget!Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Katy, X
I might try making my own. I normally have soya milk but it's getting ridiculous in Tesco to buy!

If you are concerned about calcium, don't be:Lactose Free and Calcium-Rich
A surprising fact about oat milk is that it contains more calcium in one serving than regular cow's milk. Oat milk contains 36 percent of the RDA for calcium, while one serving of whole milk contains 28 percent. This fact allows you to get a good dose of calcium each day even if you are lactose intolerant, since oat milk is lactose-free. Many people who are lactose intolerant choose other sources for lactose-free milk, such as rice milk or soy milk. Oat milk might be a better choice for you, because it's typically cheaper to buy, or you can even make it yourself.
