Someone may have already answered but yes you can freeze hummus xx
I so never knew that! I've often wanted to get the three mini packs (v expensive, but diff flavours, and a nice change for lunch sometimes), but I wouldn't get through all 3 before the date. Now I know I can freezer, I just have to wait for some space to come up, then I'm sorted!PennyGrabber wrote: »Did get a good ys deal though. Pack of 12 cumberland posh sausages, reduced from £4.39 (who would pay that?!) to £1.10. Got three packs.
They're really nice! I oven baked them, and hardly any fat came out at all. Pleased I got all three packs now! I used a whole pack of 12 tonight, as the visitor eats loads (he didn't tonight, and I have 5 left over! Will be having lo sausages somehow over the next few days!), and the other two packs are frozen in sixes.KatyReed+5 wrote: »Thank you.
Wont be any harder, he never did anything with or for them when he was here. I don't mind having them all but 2 of them arn't mine, the older 2 aged 8 and 11 are his from a previous relationship. He's staying at a friends from work tonight. I don't really know what's happened, we've just drifted apart really, it's been rocky for at least 6 months, but it's still come as a shock, i'm just feeling really sad

PennyGrabber we often get humous reduced to about 20p (in lots of lovely flavours). I either split the tub into ramekins with enough for one serving and freeze or keep as a whole pot and defrost if we have guests. A tub with a bowl of crisps and some crudites make nice nibbles for pennies.
Dh has just text to say I will be pleased with him when he gets in from work. This can only mean he has gone whoopsie hunting. My granny used to give me rose petal sandwiches when I was a kid a bit like turkish delight. Oh see you went for rose petal jelly!
I am going to try that!!!
I'm about to make something else with a rose petal and elderflower combo. Not sure whether to go for a cordial or a jelly....?
I need to do it tonight as the blooms will wilt but I... Am..... So.... TIRED now!!!
Been out n about all afternoon, foraging, taking the kids to a class and got back in and cooked a parsley pesto pasta (after picking ingredients from the back garden:)). I wanna crash but I have to do dishes and start processing the foraged stuff before OH comes in who is a hay fever sufferer.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

I have envy!!!
How on earth did you train him? My OH hates shopping, let alone whoopsie hunting. He'd rather grate his own eyeballs than run an errand :rotfl::A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Hope you're feeling better soon, debbiedeejay and Sue14. I agree about generic meds. But even then, you have to watch out - Mr A's paracetamol is still half the price of B00ts. It really annoys me that there is such a difference in prices. Do they think we were born yesterday?!!
Katy - I hope this evening has gone ok for you. Children sometimes know more than we think - I hope it's not affected them too badlyTake care and look after yourself, pet.:)
NSD for me - only 4 days left...
JJ - where do you get the ideas from????
When I was little (in the olden days :rotfl:) we used to collect rose petals and make our own children's version of perfume. I dread to think what it actually smelled ofbut we had fun doing it.
