  • Hi all

Just swooping in to declare at £48.70 for June - £71.30 under budget!!! :T :T

I have acheived this by running down all my supplies - I'm in the process of selling my house so trying to minimise the amount of stuff I'll be moving to my new house! July will be a differet story I bet - house sale still going thru and not much food supplies left so will be budgeting an prob apending my usual £30 p/w.

See you all on the July thread :D

Declaring ???? I know I am over but havent clue how much, its been a strange month for me, hospitally visiting and my Mums funeral yesterday, I havent eaten properly for weeks, chippy and mackies on the move. So although I am over I still have most of the grocery bought. Going to chill out for a couple of days and then take stock before deciding on Julys budget.

(((hugs))) Meg72 - take it easy hon, and look after yourself.

Well anyone looking at my sig will see I have blown June's budget in spectacular style. I had wanted to use more stock from my 2nd purse 'shop' CAZCO but this hasn't been the case. In fact I've hardly shopped with my 2nd purse this month which has been my downfall I'm sure.

Last spends of June today and picked up 5 x rtc hummous which I have frozen ;)

Need to try harder in July - much much harder. See you all on the July thread.

Hope your coping as well as can be expected during this difficult time meg72 :(

2 spends to report - £5.48 in Mr W on some pasta, soured cream, bacon, chopped tomatoes and YS stewing lamb (went straight into the freezer for a later date)

Then £5.24 in Mr S on basmati rice, diet coke and lunch things today.

£10.72 in total. My week ends today so just need to check my signature and declare.

Very pleased with that, though everything has been wound down and the cupboards and fridge/freezer resemble a desert!

Off to post in July now. :D

  • Final shop of the month .... popped to the big Mr A & spent a whopping £87:eek::eek: - however, a lot of that was cat & dog stuff that our Mr A don't stock (just a wee store) so luckily only around £20 to add to the GC budget;).

I have put £11.90 to the July (stock-up month) budget as I managed to get a few bits on offer - incl my O*lay face cloth things for £2 / box (1/2 price - funny as got them on offer the last time a couple of months ago!) and now have enough to last to the end of the year:j:j:j

So, declaring at £125.07 / £130 for June :j:j:j and £418.78 / £420 for the quarter :j:j:j (still not made much inroads into the 1st quarter's overspend tho!).

    Have a great weekend all:D

Meg - lots of hugs winging their way to you. Look after yourself.

Well, yesterday was literally a washout! We had a swimming pool where the patio should have been, and at one time, we had 3 waterfalls in our garden! The garage flooded by about 1 1/2 inches right through, as it's on a higher level than the house and patio, and the water got over the air bricks and the damp course of the house but thankfully didn't reach the doors. It was amazing how quickly the water came down - like something in America! We also had a 4 hour power cut from 3.40 to 7.45ish - just in time for Wimbledon at 8pm ;)
DH has spent all day in the garage while I was at work. Not much damage as most things are in boxes off the ground - mostly junk anyway. I'm glad I put my freezer on a pallett when we first put it in the garage though.
So... 2 NSDs, only 2 more to go....
If I can make it to Sunday, I'll come in at £6.10 under budget for the month :)

Hope you're as OK as can be expected Meg.
