oh dear we have drama here tonight. DD's BF has been chucked out and she went to get him. I have him here but must admit that I am a wee bit nervous about it. His parents are a but nuts and shout and ball and are not averse to lifting their hands. On the surface they have the perfect life. Beautiful home, holidays aplenty, no apparent shortage of money ( and she constantly points it out to me that my life/finances are very different to hers- boot) but they do not have a peaceful family life. The elder daughter moved out at 17 and is now 25. She was up tonight and asked if she could get some dinner and her Mum told her to F off and go and buy her own shopping !!!! The Dad then went mental at DD's BF as he hadn't loaded the dishwasher properly and when he retorted he was told he had 10 minutes to get out. I mean seriously. My kids wouldn't last 10 seconds lol. Also I will not allow them to share a room here as I am straight through the wall and I just don't want to know so DD will be on the couch as BF is 6'5 so needs the bed. So slightly concerned now as not sure what to do5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.

Uh oh, sounds tense but you cant leave him on the street. Hes best off away from it until it all calms down.
Glad you had a nice night with your pals.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
I did SBO it was food for the soul.
DD's BF situation not any better. His Dad has told him that only reason he is allowed home is to collect his stuff . This appears to boil down to him incorrectly loading the dishwasher . I mean get a grip. I would just be delighted if mine actually loaded the dishwasher. I feel so sorry for him. I gave him his lunch away with him today and he has had his dinner tonight and is so grateful. I don't think he gets his dinner made for him very often. I have started making DD do the dinner 1 night per week but I always make sure they get fed and every day DD texts me asking me what's for her dinner. She knows I am almost always organised. I just feel so sorry for him. It is like a power thing with his parents and I just don't get it. My DD showed me one of the texts from his Dad and tbh I am just horrified. He is not a bad boy. Maybe a bit mouthy but he doesn't deserve this. His elder sister left home at 17 as well so it just shows how bad things are there. I let his Mum know early today that he was here.

SBO he is 6'4 and takes some feeding :rotfl:No money to be made there.
He's away to chat with his parents and has been warned to have his listening ears on.
Well I was quietly proud of myself today. I needed petrol and a lthough I have the money I used my cashback card and also used my nectar card so 2 companies giving me money to buy the fuel I would buy anyway. I have put the money I have spent so far into a separate account and I will pay it as soon as bill comes in. Fingers crossed I can always be this well behaved with it.
No other money spent today so I am happy enough with that. I was trying to stop drinking fizzy juice but my head was bouncing and I gave in. I spend quite a lot of money on juice for us all and I need to try and sort this out- but not today.
Not much more to tell today and fingers crossed all ends well with DD's BF.
Watching Alan Titchmarsh and love your garden. What a great programme. I want a rock garden now.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

So did I SBO but my garden is teensy weensy so I could get a rock patch and some paving and that would be about it
.
My girl is not very well and I am a wee bit worried about her. She has been having some irregular heart beats and is to go to hospital and get some tracings done. She is also to have some bloods done to check if her thyroid is off. Hmmm. Not going to worry ( yeah right) until there is something to worry about.
Moneywise I am knackered. Nearly at the max in my overdraft. I am due some money from DD tomorrow but not sure how much she will be giving me as her wage rise is not due until next month. I have quite a lot of food in and I have a full tank of petrol so I will just pull my belt right in and spend absolute minimum for the rest of the month . Oh well same old same old :rotfl:.I have a cheek to moan when I bought a chinese tonight for dinner.

SBO I am sure she will be fine although the funny beat is really annoying her and she seems quite tired.I think we are falling apart in this house. I had to come home at lunch time today as I was in so much pain with my side. I cannot wait to get my scan and get some answers as it's bloody annoying now.
I put on another 3lb last night so that's nearly a stone in 5 weeks :eek: I mean W T F !! I am back at the weight I was in January and I am disgusted at myself . All the effort I have put in has been wasted but that is the only negative thought I am going to have and I am just going to get on with it. I have started again today. In work today one of the guys in the section is moving to another section and tbh we are all delighted as he is a right pain. I feel sorry for him though as I don't think he means to be so obnoxious and I make a real effort with him. He is going to be sitting in the team with my friend and today he said to her 'hi I dont think we have been formally introduced' she said 'yes but you know me' he then said ' aye you're BIG mit's pal' I am 5'3 and although I am overweight I wouldn't describe myself as big!! Well my pal went through him and told him not to dare refer to me as that and then she told me. I must be mega hormonal as I got really really upset and told him that I was very disappointed in him and that he had a bloody cheek to say I was big considering the size of him. He was gutted and teared up so I had to end up cuddling him to make him feel better.Oh the drama. This menopause can get lost as I am just no fussed on this sweating, greeting, bloating s h i t :rotfl:.
DD paid her digs today so bank balance is mildly better. At least we will get through until the end of the month. Things are not great though with money and DS is back at school next week which will be £30 per week, still no sign of ex working and tax credits has ended with an overpayment. I am trying not to get too disheartened but I reckon DFD will need to be extended. Oh well. Whatever it takes I will get there eventually
