• Wow what a lovely day.

    Well done :)

  • Dawnybabes welcome to my wee world :D

Yesterday was a lovely day. DD picked up her car today and she is just so chuffed with herself. It's a cracker. She is away now to show her old aunties- probs hoping they slip her a wee tenner for petrol . The first place she went was the cemetery to show her Gran and funnily enough I went up there too to tell her all about her grandchildren and everything that is going on. Still the first person I want to tell everything to :).

My big pal was taken into church tonight and funeral is tomorrow. So heartbreaking watching his wee girl being all brave. His poor boy who is 12 is refusing to go to the funeral and also refusing to talk to anyone about anything. Devastating for them all.

Just checked bank account as well and 1 word covers it . The word begins with F ends with K and has UC in the middle. My weans have robbed me this month and it's not so good. Just having a wee discussion on facebook as to what kind of outfit I will wear over the weekend in Glasgow as I am going to have to go on the game :rotfl:

Ok so I have just been slapped by s o d s law. I sit here all shining and house perfect and no-one appears. Tonight the house looks as if a bomb has exploded and my 2 clean freak mates turned up . Mortified . Oh well :o.

So a mixed bag of a day here but much much better than my poor pals wife's so I am thankful. Take care all xx

  • Sh*t day. So sad. Can't wait to get to bed so it is over. Soon as BB is done I will e heading there :(.

Came home and made cupcakes. I always either cook or clean when I am upset and tonight was cooking. I have made chocolate cup cakes with chocolate buttercream. I piped them and been trying to upload the pics for about half an hour from photobucket but no joy. I know I have done this before with other pics so I am bamboozled .

Anyway I am away to have a cuppa and a cup cake xx

  • Hope you are feeling better today pet. Your bank balance will recover and just remember, focus on the positives and this week has had them in spades.

It must fill your heart to know your daughter goes to see her Gran too. So much love for such a special person and she is still with you.

  • SBO thanks xx. Was just so so upset after funeral yesterday. Still in shock tbh but life goes on.

My kids still always think about their Gran when anything happens as she was their other parent in reality as their Dad is just not quoted.

So tomorrow I am working with DS in morning and heading out to Glasgow with my friends in the afternoon so a nice day ahead I hope. Been in pain since last night though so fingers crossed I will be fine. I am really beginning to think I might have a cyst as I have what looks like a preggers belly and I just don't think I have IBS as too many things don't add up.I am waiting on a scan so I will find out from that hopefully. In the meantime I'll just need to keep going. I'm getting grumpy and moany though as I am so tired through loss of sleep so I need it sorted ASAP. But I am looking forward to a nice upbeat day and a fab catch up with my girls. Even better is that we can lift money from our account so cost will be minimum :D.

Nice quiet day on Sunday hopefully and a BIG long lie :D. Cannot wait.

    Nothing else to report xx

  • Hi Dawny I have been tested for coeliac and was negative. Was out with my friends last night and was a bit achy. One of my friends is a nurse and when I showed her where the pain is she is pretty sure it is my kidneys. She asked me some questions about pain down my legs etc and it looks as if that's what it might be. I have my scan date in for 22nd so hopefully I will have answers soon. I am going to start drinking gallons of water in the meantime and see if that helps.

What a lovely relaxing day I had yesterday and I spent the sum total of £5 on my train fare as the rest of the money came from our wee savings fund. What a result . We went into Glasgow and my friend had £1 cocktail vouchers for Brown's and we had a lush cocktail and sat outside watching the world go by. There were bus loads of women being picked up to go to ladies day at Ayr races and the style was phenomenal. These women were stunning and the effort they had made was fabulous. I had made a bit of an effort going out yesterday but they made me feel like a tramp . Was good fun though. We went to a few pus and then had food in Tony Macaroni's and I had my first tapas and I loved it. Another pub and then train back down the road and into our local pubs. There was live music and we ended our day out with a wee sing song. My daughter picked us up in her new car and took us all home.I am fresh as a daisy as I totally paced myself ooze wise as I was a bit sore so all is well. Great day after a somewhat horrible week. I love my pals .

So today has to be housework unfortunately. Just about to put up the ironing board and get started. Heating is on for first time in weeks as rather chilly and rainy and washing needs dried. Will polish and hoover after ironing and will be all spic and span again. Back on diet yet again so hopefully start reducing weight ASAP. Have a lovely Sunday guys xx

  • I've read someone on another diary had the same problem. I think MSE is at fault rather than you.

Your day out sounds lovely, and fingers crossed they sort you out at the scan on 22nd Xx
