Hello folks. Another cheeky wee day off today
. I've cut my grass which was hard going as it was damp but will soon be soaking wet so I needed to get it cut. Both gardens look lovely and tidy now so that's great. Going to sit and eat lunch now for about an hour ( not an hour of eating :rotfl:) and then get my housework done and my windows and doors cleaned. Tomorrow we have 2 holiday lets to clean so that will pay for DS's lunch and fares next week and also the small amount of shopping I need this week. I will also do a menu this afternoon and make a list. So Sunday and Monday will be completely free days. I might go a wee run to ikea with DD and just browse.
I will hopefully have a NSD today unless I shop later for food. I intend to wash and clean out my car at some point as well.
So busy wee day but nice and productive5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening all. Yummy freezer dinner tonight. Had chilli and rice and DS had cheesy pasta. I have enough food for the week and don't actually need to buy anything except some fruit on Tuesday
.
I have ordered my huge monthly shop to get delivered on Thursday night as I'm going out on Friday night. £156 :eek::eek: and I will still to get mince and fresh fruit. Sheesh!! No wonder I'm skint.
I have the slow cooker on just now with lentil soup in it and it smells awesome. Will e ready soon and I will have a HUMONGOUS plate of it as it is free on slimming world diet. PLMBL I noticed you saying you were going to go for the weight loss again so join me in a wee challenge. I am going to try and get 2.5lbs per week from now until Christmas. My philosophy being that it is short term and I can hopefully manage to stick to it for that length of time. I am not thinking about after Christmas at all.
Didn't do all the housework after all. I did lounge , some washing and tidied kitchen but was knackered after cutting the grass so I sat on my b u m.

Well I hope you enjoyed it. Yeah when you're ready and 2.5lbs per week is my target but yours could even be 1 per week and get a wee stone off for the Christmas festivities.I am really determined again as I am disgusted at how quickly it has gone back on once I took my eye off the ball. I've thrown out all my bigger clothes so I just cannot go back up the way. Take care xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hi folks. Been a busy day today but 99p out and £52.50 in
. Go me !! Need to use £20 tonight for putting into a card for a 40th birthday we are going to. I am taking the car and a bottle of pop so no other spends. Kids are coming too so it should be a good wee night. We'll see some other family so I am looking forward to it.
I got a HUGE box of fresh veggies today from the woman we clean for. Pink potatoes, white potatoes, onions, red onions, carrots and chillies. Nom nom. They smell so good I could eat them with the muck still on them. Chopped up 2 of the onions for a curry tonight and will use some potatoes tomorrow for the Sunday dinner. I will use everything so that's a great saving for me. Food tastes so much better when it is that fresh, it was only picked yesterday.
I need to get on with my knitting as I have quite a few Aran jumpers to do for Christmas. They can be knitted quite cheaply but they are a great gift to give and are really on trend just now.
I'm watching the Australian biggest loser on telly just now. There are 67 episodes to watch so I am hoping to motivate myself into getting this weight off again. So far so good but I am taking it a day at a time. I am a foodaholic for sure. Thank God I'm not fussed on alcohol and never been interested in drugs or I would be an alcoholic/ drug addict as well .
Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

dayEvening all
. What a glorious day here today. Not a cloud in the sky. I haven't halted since 9.30am except for food and what a nice productive day but OMG I am shattered.
Every bit of washing in the house has been done and dried outside. All fences , gates and summer house painted. Curtains hung in summer house and it all looks fabby dabby. I am very pleased with it. The kids both mucked in. DS albeit after a massive fight where I had to call my brother to come and talk to him ( 15 and a wee a r s e at times ) but eventually finished it at 7.30pm. The garden really does look fab. I am hoping tomorrow to do all my edging, one wee bit turned over and bark put down and get my wee solar lights fitted and it will be completely finished. I am loving it. If it wasn't for the horrible midges I would live out there
.
Unfortunately due to the amount of time we all worked I ended up spending £17 on a take away. We haven't had one for ages though so I am not going to beat myself up about it. I am just so pleased at what we have achieved today that it was worth every penny and no actual money was spent doing the garden as I already had everything and it was all our own labour.
Wee cheeky day off tomorrow again as we get the English bank holiday. It's to be a beautiful day again so I will be busy , busy again. DS will be at school and DD at college ..........Bliss !!:rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Morning mit well done on getting so much work done on garden , in my fridge i also have aero mousses i have the white choc ones and the caramel ones i will have one of each later haha0

Well Kitty they were a bargain. Not often we can afford a wee treat
. I will make them last 4 days. I normally chomp on a curly wurly at night but I have ran out of them so the mousse was a delightful sight to see :rotfl:. I love chocolate and need to build just a wee bit into my diet and so long as I keep losing weight then it's fine. When I get nearer my goal weight I may need to stop but I am getting away with it just now
.
So a wee day off today. Spent all morning so far ironing and watching Australia biggest loser. Am at episode 21 of 67  but find it so motivating and I am 100% committed to getting to 5 stones off by Christmas. I have 1st 11.5 off so far but if I average at just over 2lb per week then I can do it by 18th December. What a Christmas present to me that would be. When I get to my goal weight I have promised myself an LK Bennett dress and I discovered at the weekend that my cousin's wife works for a shop that can get me 25% off of it. The dress is currently £175 so that would be £43.75 less to pay. I am going to try and stick £1.50 away for each lb I lose and then the money will be there so I can just go and buy it. I have a wee side account in my bank I can use for that. In fact that is just what I am going to do. I lost 1.5lb last week so I will transfer £2.25 right now and get the fund started. After that I will save for the shoes :rotfl:.
So today unfortunately will be more housework. Washing is done and about to go out on the line to dry. Ironing is done and I will put that away. I will tidy round and hoover and mop the floors and then I will sit and knit. Rock and Roll !!5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

I have been pondering today. I have been having bother sleeping due to how skint I am and how I am struggling to meet my snowball target. I feel guilty about every spend and I constantly think about money. I am stressed out!! So I have eventually got around to updating my snowball and the news is a lot worse than I thought
. My debt is away back up over 13k and my £550 target per month is just too much for me. Soooooo...............I have cut it down to £400 per month. This will still be overpaying on my debt so I will be happy with that. I will concentrate on my ASDA card so I can benefit from the 0%. DD owes me £570 which she borrowed from my BOS card for her holidays so whenever she gives me money then I will pay it from that account. If I pay ASDA £150 per month then it will be paid off by end of 0% so that is my plan.
I am not going to get upset about this as my life has changed so much financially that I can do nothing about it. Last year I was £140 per week better off so it's quite obvious things need to change. If I can manage any other over payments then I will make them. In the meantime I will try and save for Christmas and will get organised as much as possible sooner rather than later. I have already made a small start.
I feel quite relieved now that I have made the decision. Maybe I'll sleep better tonight. xx
