Evening all. Back to work today after 5 days off and I was a right old grump
. Fine now though
.
Bought part of a Christmas pressie today and got some baskets for wee hampers. 4 baskets for £9.99 in Home Bargains. I was down for some cup cake paraphernalia for one I'm making up for my friend's daughter. Got quite a few bits and bobs for £12 so that's a fab start. Going to order her nozzles and piping bags now from e-bay and that will be 1 gift sorted - Yay :j.
3 days till payday and I will be solvent again for about 5 minutes :rotfl:. It certainly will not be for much longer than that. I am just about at my max on my overdraft . I will concentrate on this instead of the ASDA card as it is costing me £1 per day. I will try and lower it as much as I can and hopefully get rid of it by Christmas time. Fingers crossed anyway.
Tired tonight so heading off to bed soon and hopefully be in a better mood tomorrow xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Hey MiT, sorry you were in a grump, but who wouldn't be having to be back at work after 5 lovely days off?! Glad you feel better now.
Got weighed tonight and have lost a pound and a half, though this is probably more down to baby loss than weight loss if you know what I mean. Anyway, I'm ready to start our challenge! Xx

Aww PLMBL it'll be down to all your upset. Welcome to the challenge though. A nice positive way to move forward. Get yourself into peak condition to deal with all that's thrown at you. xx
I lost 4.5 tonight and got slimmer of the week and a carrier bag of fruit :j:j. Will take that into work as it will never get eaten in here before it goes off but my workmates will help me. I am delighted as that is 6lbs in 2 weeks I have lost. Chuftie badge for me.17 weeks today until Christmas so I am wanting another 36lbs off in that time. So 2.2lbs per week needed. Dunno if any of you watch the biggest loser but as you know I have been overdosing on it for a few days and tonight I decided to walk to the slimming club and I kept thinking 'C'mon Mrs, last chance workout' :rotfl:. I'm an eejit for sure.
A few spends today. 24 Pack crisps from Lidl for £2.07 which is great. Spent £7 in the club on the magazine and hifi bars. I love the cheesecake one. So onwards and downwards for me.

:j:j to 4.5 lbs off :T:T
I LOVE the Biggest Loser, Australia, USA, UK I'll watch all of them!
Not so keen on the cheesecake bars to be honest! I like the rocky roads, peanut or choc orange ones more.
Good luck for the coming week XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thanks PLMBL. Good luck to you too xx. I like the orange/mint/peanut/chocolate etc etc but not fussed on the rocky road. Had the 2 cheesecake ones as Healthy B today. Am actually stuffed sitting here as just had a 3 egg omelet, HM oven chips and beans and it was a mighty portion
. Kids had same except they had piles of bread and butter. Think my 2 have hollow legs as they just eat and eat and eat.
Got my ASDA delivery there so the cupboards, freezers and fridges are all bulging. Hopefully will last a good couple of weeks. The washing powder/ toilet rolls and things like that should do all month.
I think I am going to have to get new central heating. Mine is just not working properly at all. I am in a quandary though as I dunno whether to wait until it goes or whether to just bite the bullet and get it ASAP so that I don't end up with no heating in the middle of winter. I think I will get a few quotes and see how much it will set me back. I have a big fear now of spending lots of money as I know how easily I can get out of control. I will muse it over.
So a wee night knitting. I have soup on. Out of the new cookbook in the slimming world magazine. Carrot, coriander and lentil. Smells delicious so hopefully tastes as nice. House is relatively tidy. DD has done 2 loads of wash and DS has hoovered round. I can now relax. Dishwasher is on and no dishes anywhere. All appears well. Team work- You can't beat it
. Take care all and have a nice evening xx

Ooh yes, I fancied the look of that soup! You will have to let me know how it is. Your tea sounds nice, I had a chow mein type affair which was also very nice. I have been 100% on the plan today too :j

Soup was very nice. I will definitely make it again. Dropped a tub off at my friends on way to work this morning so I'll see what she thinks of it later. Good show that you have been on plan. I have too and really feel the benefit of it. I am out for dinner tonight but I will watch what I am eating and take the car so no boozing either. This will save me calories, money and possibly pain so it's all good. Payday today Just managed to get out of the overdraft but will be back in it within a day
. Need to get rid of it as it costs me £1 per day. Over the year that amounts to £360 which is approx 24% so I reckon I will need to transfer it to a credit card that charges a lower rate. I will check this out over the weekend.
So I will head off for a shower and get ready to go out and meet my lovely friend. Am working in morning with DS and then he is away for the weekend with my brother :j. Peace and quiet. That boy is driving me up the wall. So have a good evening folks xx

Evening folks. So so tired today. Needless to say I didn't take the car last night. Spent £45, but had a fab night. Paying the price today mind you. I am getting too old for this :rotfl:.
Worked today and got paid for this week and next and we are doing extra work next week so earned £95. That will pay for DS's lunches and bus for 3 weeks so I can now forget about that. I forgot that I was going to concentrate on my overdraft and paid £150 off of my ASDA card as well as the amount that I had spent on it this month. I am spending on it so I get the cash-back. Only a few pounds but hey every little bit helps. No other spends today so I am happy with that. I'll need to get petrol but intend doing housework tomorrow so that'll probs be on Monday.
DS is away with my brother this weekend and tbh I am enjoying the peace and quiet. I'll be missing him by tomorrow but I am enjoying today.
So an evening watching Biggest Loser ( episode 45) and knitting. Rock and Roll :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Note to self. Eating cupcakes does not help with weight loss !!
Going to my wee aunties for dinner today and some other family are going as well. I have made cupcakes to take with me and I just ate 2 . I am hopeless. And the reason I made them? I had eggs that were going out of date !! Eejit that I am lol. Should have just binned them.
Never mind. Onwards and upwards. I'll just make sure that all cakes leave this house pronto.
So petrol to be bought today but hopefully no other spends. I will be happy with that.
Catch you all later xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening folks. Busy wee say today. DS got home at 1am and by time I chatted to him and got to bed I never got to sleep until 3.30 . Up at 7am so I am like a burst ball now. Rushed home as had the plumber coming at 4. Surprise surprise he hasn't shown . I am furious. I hate when people mess me about. This was potentially £4k worth of work and it's a no show!! I don't understand. Never mind there are hundreds of plumbers out there so his loss.
Am catching up with masterchef and am starving !! My scrambled eggs, chips and beans is not really grabbing me now :rotfl:but hey ho that's what I m having so I better make the most of it.
Only spent £1.80 today and unless the plumber turns up then that will be me. Not too bad. Hope everyone is good xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
