  • DD just called, super excited as her friend's mum has said they can go to her flat in Spain for 5 days and they can get flights for 140 euros :). Better get the passport sorted out then. Needs to borrow the money from me mind you for the flights :rotfl:. She is earning plenty just now though so will be able to pay it back and I promised I would help her with her passport whenever she needed to renew it :o. Didn't think it would be this year :rotfl:. Anyway it doesn't matter, I'll manage it somehow. I have the money put by to pay off my overdraft so I will use that and get her sorted ASAP.

  • Just realised I got £50 from CSA so I have transferred it over to overdraft. I now have £428 paid off from the £550. Only £122 to find :D. I might just cancel the £100 to go in for Christmas savings and get rid of it. Yes in fact I will as it will save me £20 this month if I pay it off immediately. I'll leave the overdraft on the account though - just incase I am short :D

I love love love reading peoples detailed budgets like this so thanks for posting. Don't know if I am intrinsically nosy or just love the neatness of a budget! £80 away from the 13K - that must feel good!

  • Ha ha so glad you enjoyed it. I'm always worried there will be bodies all over the nation that I have bored to death with all my figures :rotfl:. I love stats and figures and am always being teased in work as everyone except me deletes those e-mails whereas I sit and ponder over them and comment on all sorts of bits and bobs on them :o.

  • Paid £50 to Bank of Scotland CC today. That's from cleaning money for tomorrow. Also normal payment of £19.44 came out. Nearly under £14k. So excited. Just need to get DS's euros today and another few things he needs for his trip, than I can see what I am left with ( if anything :rotfl:). Still loads to do this month but at least I have a birthday so that'll be nice.

Hoping to spend less than £30 non shopping this week as we are fully stocked. Just need fruit, loo roll and some butcher meat. My cousin is a butcher though and very reasonable so I am going to pay him a wee visit today.

Have a good day folks xx

  • Aww I am so pleased for Martin. 87 million. How good is that. I wonder if I could be part of his charitable contributions :rotfl:. I only need 14k ;). Good on him I say but no doubt loads of people will be moaning about him 'leaving us' but not me. He has given so much to us and we can carry on with everything we have been taught. Also his wife is due a baby in November. So sweet. I offered to have his babies a few years ago but he didn't take me up on the offer :rotfl:. So I say all the best to him and many thanks for his help.

So I have spent just over £30 on shopping but that's okay. I bought lots of fruit and loo rolls ;). Bought enough meat for 3 dinners. DS is home :D. He had turned into a member of the great unwashed and hadn't seen soap for 4 days. So he had a sausage sandwich then straight in the shower. He is now shovelling cereal into his mouth whilst asking when dinner is . No wonder I'm skint. He's a bin!!.

I got his euros today so he is all set for his trip to France.Just another couple of clothing things to pick up but not much to get. I'll get all the washing up to date over the weekend and see what he has got. I know for a fact he needs socks, a couple of tops and a pair of cotton tracksuit trousers but I think we have everything else. Well I hope we do anyway as the money is running out now. What's new there :rotfl:

Lovely and sunny here. Long may it last.xx
