Glad to hear the cooler weather is making your mum feel more herself. And sometimes the world has to stop so you can catch up on the rest of whats going on. Take care of yourself.

    Ok here we go:-

    Holidays £0 £51.00 £500.00
    Christmas £0 £0 £1000.00

As you can see we have gone over on the lunches budget. I don't think we are going to get any type of holiday as a family this year so I am going to split up that money between the budgets that are in danger. I'm not overly bothered about a holiday as DS is away just now on a camping trip and is off to France with the school ( I haven't actually counted that in holiday budget anywhere !!) DD is going to T in the park and I am going away for a weekend in August ( haven't counted that anywhere either :o). Both the trips I haven't counted are paid and I had standing orders set up to pay them monthly so I didn't count them in this budget .

So here is jiggled budget. Same money being spent but will give me some breathing space :p

So this may seem a bit anal but it's what works for me. It reins in my spending if I reckon I will go over. I based it loosely on last year's spends but stupidly reckoned I could save money on groceries and petrol. As if :rotfl:. I am pretty frugal with those anyway so where I though I would save money I have no idea :o. I'm doing this so that when I do get debt free then I can set up lots of small accounts so I always have cash available for everything as I have it all listed for the last 2 years. So I know exactly within my miscellaneous what I have spent on my car for instance so I can set up an account to help me with paying all these costs etc etc. That's the plan anyway :D.

I intend to have a bit of a dithering day today. I'll tidy up a bit and do some washing and ironing and head into my mum's this afternoon and attend to her dinner. Whilst I am off the next 2 weeks I intend to gut my house from end to end and get everything ready and do a huge car boot sale ASAP and get all the clutter out.My summer house is full of stuff and shed is pretty full too. Under my stairs is chocka and I am feeling a bit claustrophobic with it all. I need paint for my fences and also curtains for DD's bedroom so I am going to try and earn enough to pay for these things. So all in all today so far has been a nice money saving morning :D

now I know you may think I am being harsh on myself but seriously my mum gave me £400 this month and it has all gone so I would be in deep doodoo if she hadn't. I really need to cut back more as she will not be subsidising me by £400 a month every month that's for sure :(. This is so frustrating and difficult at times but I have only 23 months to go and yes I am counting. So operation live within my means is now beginning today. I am going to bore you all to death with every detail of what I am up to. So unsubscribe now if you dont want to read my drivel :rotfl:
