Princess, Self employment !! Good for you, Can you say what you will be doing? DD is friends again and my hall looks really nice
. The house was a mess whilst it was being done and it's all lovely and tidy again
.
SBO we had a really nice time. We can get a bit drunken sometimesbut 2 of my friends are having a really rough time just now so we ended up having a good few drinks and sat putting the world to rights
. I'm glad though as it meant I was okay and no hangover on Sunday.
Money and me are not friends just now. It just seems to be trickling through my fingers at a rate of knots. I need to call a halt. I got the refund from my visa dispute today of £83.45. I will pop it away and take DS shopping when I discover what he needs for his trip. It's only for 3 days but he hardly has any clothes other than joggers as he has absolutely no interest in them.
I have a really miserable cold tonight and I am frozen. I'm going to have a very early night and see if I can get rid of it very quickly as I feel really yuk
. I hope this weather improves ASAP as winter can 'do one' as far as I am concerned :rotfl:

streaming with hankies stuck up my nostrils
I'm sure you have all been there :rotfl:. Knackered and heading to bed soon.
Just been watching Pope Francis and I must say I like the look of him. He looks like a normal wee man and that's just what is required.
Chippy dinner tonight which is bad on 2 counts. Expensive AND fattening but it was very nice.
Not on top form today so will catch up tomorrow hopefully xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

It's already all over facebook that 'Jim Bowen' is the new pope! Super, smashing, great!! It's a bit mean but I must admit he does look like him.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

PLMBL I saw that one too and also Fr Douglas from Father Ted which was funny. I got one today showing the cardinals playing musical chairs saying 'this is how they really choose the pope ' I did laugh :rotfl:.
I am still streaming with the cold and miserable. Just want to go to my bed tbh but need to work as I cannot afford to be off sick or I will be on a warning as was off for a month last year before my Mum died. Pain in the neck but I just need to soldier on. I'm being pathetic :rotfl:.
I am quite excited though as my bank loan is now sitting at £385.31. It's nearly gone and that will free up £132.20 per month for the cards. I cannot wait to get rid of another debt.
When I was in ASDA tonight I picked up a leaflet about their CC as it pays 1% cashback. If I can trust myself to pay it as I go then I could make a potential £50 for just shopping per year. I'm going to have a go as it will be a good test of how I will manage using a card in future.
I have made 2 tray bakes tonight for comic relief tomorrow in work. Our bosses did Gangnam style today and it was hilarious. Last time we had a talent show and 2 very glamorous ladies and wee fat me did Beyonce's all my single ladies and won it hands downQuite nice that it's not me making a prat of myself this time.
Going to phone my pal and then head to bed. Take care all and SBO I hope we feel better tomorrow xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Well the only news I have is that my DFD is 18mnths away . That's if all my plans come together but how bloody exciting is that?? I really wish I had the energy to get excited about it. Oh well bedtime I reckon and try and sleep it off xx

:jyay feeling a bit better today
. Still bunged up but not feeling all horrible. Thank goodness as I am not a reasonable sick person. I moan and moan and moan :rotfl:.
Was working this morning and paid another £25 off tesco. I want rid of it ASAP as I need to move on and get what I want in life. Now I'm not greedy I just want heating, gutters, kitchen and loo :rotfl:. I've been on a bit of a rant this week as I have struggled and struggled for years to pay my mortgage and keep us in a house. I do cheap paint jobs to keep it looking as fresh as I can but I never get help from anywhere or anyone. My friend's DD has her own house. She has a 2nd child ( first one is with my friend) she has had a very bad lifestyle until very recently and she has had a new kitchen and bathroom fitted this week. When she moved into the house she got new central heating throughout ( I only have 3 radiators in my whole house) and she has never worked or paid a penny into the economy. Where is the fairness in that?? I am not against her getting help but I am peed off about this. What incentive is there for her to go out and work? There is no reason whatsoever that would stop her. If I had decided to sit on benefits as a single Mum I could also have a new kitchen and bathroom whereas mine is over 30 years old. Ok rant over.
The woman that DS and I clean for and her husband are just lovely and today I had to drop stuff off for her at her house. Her husband has been building it for nearly 5 years and OMG it is outstandingly beautiful She is a lucky lady. I told them I no longer liked them and their house was horrible :rotfl:. I consider myself as having a big kitchen but I swear her island is bigger than my room and I am not joking. To be honest seeing it has just motivated me massively again. I know I will never have that kind of house but I can get this one to the very best it can be and be very very comfortable in it. I will still lust after all the houses in rightmove but I will content myself unless my numbers come up.
So tomorrow is an e-bay day hopefully. I have tidied up this afternoon and I will polish and hoover in the morning then get my treasure listed and see if I can get any extra cash for that. I also have £15 in change which I will take into my work's canteen on Monday then pay off of CC. So all in all things seem to be going ok. Oh and big news is that CSA have all the info they need about daddyo and they are hopefully going for wages arrestment so I will hopefully get some money from that avenue soon as well
