I should be locked up. I cannot be trusted near a shop. I went out for a pencil case ( to tidy up all pens,pencils etc in drawer) and buttons for 2 cardigans. I came home with

pencil case
buttons
wool
door mat
yankee candles baby powder scented
rown paper
grater with tub

I mean !!!!!! I am a disgrace. I will use everything TBH but I am trying to be good :eek:. I swear once I get my canvases for my hall then that is it as far as spending on the house is concerned. The next money will be for gutters or heating. This is my pledge

:cool:.

Will need to spend on garden mind you

Well done for getting back on the straight and narrow!

I also am trying to sort through hundreds of SW recipes! Not only do I have almost every recipe book going, but I also tear out all the recipes from old magazines with the intention of trying them and filing them in a binder if I'd make them again, or just binning the recipe if not. My binder is quite full but I still have a mahoosive pile of untried recipes to get through too

I am so angry with my DD right now. I could just scream. It's a good job she is not in or I would hit the roof. She promised me that my hall would be finished last weekend and surprise surprise it wasn't. Then the promise was she would be finished it this week.She has worked on it for about 30minutes each night but I have kept quiet but I pinned her down to having it finished by tonight. She ran out of paint :eek:. Not her fault but I said to her to pick paint up as she assures me it will only take half an hour as the bulk of the work has been finished. She has borrowed my car to take her pal to an appointment. So it's my car, my f8cking petrol and guess what ? She had no time to get the paint. So only 1 person let down here and that's me. I am fuming :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:. And I am sitting here knitting her a bloody cardigan. I must have MUG tattoed on my forehead :mad::mad:. Selfish madam that she is. Rant over

Finished the hoody that I started about 3 years ago for DD. She doesn't deserve it though :mad:
