  • haha, great stuff, looks pretty tasty!
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • It was totally lush. Actually tasted better than it looks tbh. I'm hungry again though but I have the slow cooker going with soup in it so I am going to have a wee plate of that to keep me going. I love home made soup nom nom. That'll feed me for most of the week's lunches as well. I don't think I'm going to bother doing a shop this week as I have plenty in.I've taken mince out to make either HM burgers or chilli tomorrow night. DS hates chilli but he could have something else.

Still in my dressing gown , clarty mare that I am :o but it's been a productive day. I intend heading into the town tomorrow for buttons and it will be a good old walk for me as I have told DD she can take the car to work. I live up a hill so it will be a fair old workout getting back up here . So if I'm not on tomorrow you will know it involves ambulances etc :p

  • I just went from  at reading 'bloody droppings' (thinking you meant blood in your own poo!!!!) to :rotfl: at your "if I'm not on it involves ambulances" comment. Then :o as I realised that meant laughing at you being ill .

Anyway!! Curry looks good. Were your onions your 3rd super free :p.

  • :rotfl:concentrate woman :rotfl::rotfl:just meant the climb home may result in an ambulance needed. Only had 2 superfree today. Is that what your consultant advises then? Mine just says if you get a bit stuck then try and eat the superfree foods. That's what I have tried to do the last couple of weeks and it has definitely worked. Unfortunately since last Wednesday night until today I have eaten from the 'hundreds of calories' book and will no doubt put on my 3.5lbs from last week :(. Stupid really :(. Never mind I am on the straight and narrow again today and will do the mega walk tomorrow and cross my fingers on Wednesday night xx

  • Do a power walk! High arms burn even more calories.

  • My consultant advises that a 3rd of every meal be superfree where possible. Things like adding fruit to you breakfast, a side salad to lunch or veggies to your dinner. I suppose it's aimed at making you fill up on the good stuff so you are less likely to snack on the wrong stuff.

    Enjoy your walk Xx

  • Not sure if I can be bothered walking :o. Am in lazy mode now. Maybe later :rotfl:.

My Barclaycard balance was increased this month and I also got a surprise 0% offer from them until November. So I have transferred £1850 from Halifax and saved myself £120 in interest- this is all dependant on me carrying on as I am at the moment which tbh is tough going. I now have £5k of my debt on 0% up until about October. Whats the chances of getting rid of £5k by then ? Somewhere between slim and none I would reckon :rotfl:. But hey I might get another cheeky wee 0% before then. I didn't even have to go looking for this one :D.

So far this morning I have done nothing. Am about to move an dput a wash out on the line and pop another one in. I will have some fruit and yogurt for brekkie and then watch Homes under the hammer :) on replay and ponder the rest of my day. I think I will clean the tiles in my loo but I will see. I love being off of work :D

  • Well upstairs windows now gleaming. I even took the toothbrush into the corners :A. Downstairs ones are still minging mind you but I may move and do them this afternoon. My tiles are gleaming except the top row at the back of the bath as I am too wee to reach them :o. DD will get those ones when she comes in. Only took about an hour to do both windows and tiles so that was great. I think I'll watch a film this afternoon as I have argo and skyfall on here to see. My son is a bit of a computer whizz and has set up a home network so we can share things so it is very handy as he has all these films that I have not seen :D. Am off to hang out washing for a few hours. It probs wont dry completely but it will get a good old blow about and smell yummy.

  • Downstairs windows now done. Place stinks of vinegar :p. But I can see outside now. That may not be such a good thing mind you as showing up what needs done in the garden. I will maybe start on my pots tomorrow and then see what plants I can scrounge off of gardening type friends :D.

I just applied for TSB 21mnth 0% and it knocked me back . I don't understand how I got £2k added to a card this morning and this afternoon I get turned down . I dont get it * shrugs shoulders* :(
