Just popping in to say that cardie is LOVELY, well done!! Such a talent, wish I could do it!

Looking forward to seeing the hoodie, might get my nana to knit me one, its not often I make a request so im sure she wont mind
  • JennyJenJen I have knitted for many years since I was really young but I really enjoy it. You should get your Nana to teach you :D

SBO Bloody annoying if you ask me .

I just remembered today that I have forgotten to send back the boots I bought from Pavers for faulty checking. I have worn them twice and they have burst. They were in the sale and were £30 but I still want my money back or boots replaced.I also haven't chased up the money back from visa for the head phones I bought so I will chase that up tomorrow as well as it is £85. So potentially I have £115 sitting stagnant that could be used for debt payments.

I also have a few things to e-bay and just need to get my back side in gear and get them listed. I just need to motivate myself again and get on with it. I need to go back to the early days and apply myself to this as if it is a second job. Watch this space:D.
    I need to
    1. Get organised
    2. Menu Plan
    3. Do a shopping list and stick to it
    4. Make soups etc for lunches
    5. Make sure that by hook or by crook I pay my £580 per month so my DFD is not extended.
    6. Clear out cupboards and find saleable items
I will no doubt add to this but I need to get a move on as SBO will leave me in her dust soon :D

    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Hi jelly bean. Lovely to see you.

SBO yes we are and we will get there.

Nice wee day planned today. Am going to watch homes under the hammer, quick tidy up and a shower. Then head out to get buttons for the various cardigans I have finished. Then head into my 2 old aunties, one for lunch and the other for a wee cuppa. I'll then head to the supermarket and stock up. I'll get flowers and head up and sort out Mum's grave so it looks fab when her friend gets here. I'm really looking forward to seeing her but I know it will be very emotional and every time I think of it or talk about her coming I am in floods. Ridiculous! Because she is so far away it will really hit her when she comes here. Also it's her 70th on Sunday and would have been Mum's in 2 weeks and that was the whole reason for her trip. Heartbreaking. Anyway, today will be nice. I need to see about getting a nice gift for her for her birthday as well but I will head down to Jenners tomorrow to sort that out.

Have a nice day everyone xx

  • Sounds like a lovely pootly day. Enjoy and I hope the sun is shining for you.

  • Nah no sunshine but no matter.

Excellent news though. I called online banking regarding the headphones I ordered for DS back in November that never came and £83.45 being refunded to my account within 28 days. How good is that ?? So pleased.:D:D. Sending off my faulty boots today as well so fingers crossed I'll get the money refunded for them as well :D

DS has a trip away with a group he attends in school so I will get him clothes with the £83 and that'll save me forking out for that :D. Happy MIT

  • Result! I love money coming the right way! I am hoping my thirty quid cashback is paying back today.
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Evening all. What a lovely wee day. Went and visited my 2 old aunties and had a good old chinwag with them. They were so pleased to see me and I got many compliments about my weight loss :D. Only problem was I bought 2 lots of cakes to take with me and I ate a cake in both of their houses. I have been having a total food party this week which resulted in 2.5lbs on tonight at slimming club :o. Never mind, I enjoyed every mouthful. Back on straight and narrow now though as I refuse to go down that route and also I want to sell my big clothes :rotfl:.

Went to Morrisons on way home and failed miserably on the promises I made to myself last night and I spent £112 :eek::eek::eek:. I did buy lots and lots of fresh fruit and veg mind you and boy oh boy it is expensive just now. So long as it does not go to waste I will be happy enough. This wasn't even a full trolley of shopping and that shocked me .

I then went to slimming club with DD and then a long walk with my bestie. So good to get a catch up when it is just her and I and we can blether away. Really couldn't be bothered going either but am really glad I did as it was grand. Totally baltic mind you. I was a lovely shade of blue when I came in. And I mean that literally as my chin(s) turns blue when I am cold ;).

So I had corned beef hash from the freezer for my dinner and a magnum for afters as they were on special today oh and a creme egg . !!!!!! I need my jaws wired :mad::mad::mad:. Defo back on straight and narrow tomorrow.
