:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:good idea. Told her I would finish the hall myself and that it would be a cold day in h*ll before I ask her to do any decorating for me again. Then gave the stinger and told her not to ask me to do anything for her in the meantime as she has no chance so from tomorrow her dirty washing will be getting thrown back in her room and tomorrow when I make dinner I am only going to cook for DS and I ( probs not as I am not that wicked) but the washing is a definite. No apology. Well a texted one but that does not count. I gave her what for when she came in. My throat hurts with yelling . Asked her who she thought she was taking the p^ss out of. So she has now gone upstairs in a huff which is probs just as well as I want to just keep shouting :eek:. Weans !!! :mad::mad::mad:

DD away to work and hasn't spoken a word :mad:

DS and I had a huge argument this morning as even after me losing the plot last night he still didn't clear the kitchen :mad:. I am raging :mad:. I've never felt so unappreciated in my life. Well I am on strike now and we'll see how they like it. I am going to tidy up the main areas of the house and anything that they have left lying about will be tossed into their rooms. I am not making any dinner for them and none of their washing is getting done. Now I know this is childish but am so annoyed that I don't even care any more.

Oops!! Feel guilty now as DD just texted me to say she has a half day to get the hall finished . To be honest I am really hurt by them both as I ask them to do very little and all I get is attitude when I do ask. I'm sick of it. I'm a good Mum and I work my socks off for them and just feel as if it is thrown back in my face all the time. All part of being a parent I suppose and when you are the only one then you just get it double .

Oh well time to sort myself out. I have a lovely weekend to look forward to. I have a retirement tonight with work folks. I am working in the morning with DS and then heading off for a wee overnight with my friends in the most amazing house. It costs over £3k to rent it for the weekend but we are getting a freebie to test it out before it opens up for holiday letting . It has a hot tub outside looking up to Ben Lomond. Heaven . Maybe that'll calm me down :rotfl:.

I have a few things looked out now for e-bay and will get that done over the weekend at some time hopefully. I hate trying to work out the postage though. I always end up getting it wrong.

£35 to tesco card now at £1360.07. Going to get a beating hopefully. I've paid £297 off of it so far this month

Blummin kids are a confusing lot. They get me as mad as a stuck pig but they are the only ones who can get you so happy as well.

Focus on that night in the getaway, sounds absolutely amazing.

Have a class night tonight. Sounds much nicer than my plans. You certainly have whopped that card, it will be gone in a flash. x

Well hall is finished at last. My IBS has flared ( stress !!!). Meant to go out tonight but can't see me managing the way I am feeling just now. Hall looks fab tbh but all the drama surrounding getting it done has taken the shine off of it for me. DD mentioned decorating DS's room and I told her to forget it. Think it's her way of trying to apologise but I couldn't stand the mess again.

My pal reckons I'm crabbit and grumpy as I am not looking forward to Mother's day, her birthday etc etc but I need to give myself a shake cos I can't be taking it out on the kids. Right I am stopping it now. Pain killers have kicked in. I will drive tonight so I will be okay to drink tomorrow when I go out with my girlies.

Am heading in to tackle my kitchen now. Wish me luck :eek:
