Hi Kitty. I've calmed down now but I will not be as amenable in future I can assure you. I have a couple folks in my family who are coeliacs and I have thought it might be that. I really need to see the doc and get some tests done as it is very annoying.
Exciting news tonight which has cheered me right up. My wee pal who has breast cancer is taking part in a flash mob in Glasgow on Thursday and I think I am going to join her. I am doing the race for life and it is all to do with that. So exciting and we all want to support her as much as we possibly can. I'm on strike on Wednesday so will have to see if we can get a longer lunch on Thursday to head into town and do this5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Kitty I know, they are loads of fun.
So I am in a much more positive frame of mind today. I'm just thinking s0d the work I will do what I need to do and use my energies elsewhere. Why should I knock myself out for people like that
Had a lovely wee evening. New pub opened locally so met up with some friends and had a nice wee chat and a catch upam heading to the same pub tomorrow for lunch as I am unfortunately on strike
. Oh well.
Diet is a riot just now but I need to try and get back on it as I am annoying myself now. I just need to get organised again but problem is that I am out every day from now until Monday and they all involve either food or drink or both . Excuses excuses :rotfl:
Anyway I hope everyone is good xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Jealous of that social life.
Blomin work eh? We all just turn up for money - remember that.
Seems like we are in the same union, but we arent out on strike here. I checked my news letters and it appears its not us. Shame really I could have done with a day in the pub too.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
SBO it'll probably be a waste of time anyway. You're right about just going for the money, I just felt let down by this woman. She sits across from me and constantly runs things past me, asks me advice, tells me far far too much about other people and is just so inappropriate it is unbelievable. I could really drop her in it with the office manager but of course I won't but if she ever pulls that sh*t again she's toast .
I have already decided anyway that I will concentrate on the property developing with DD, which we will start next year, and if that works then I will part time retire at 50 something and concentrate on that. I would enjoy that much more anyway. The !!!!!iness and back stabbing in the office is getting to me and I just want out of it. I hate all that stuff. If someone doesn't have the talent to move up the ladder without stepping over everyone in their path then they do not deserve to get there. Unfortunately that's usually the type who do. I just can't be bothered with it any more.
So today I am on striketo the day off  to the loss of a day's wages. I will have a nice wee day though with a lovely friend so all is not lost. Going for lunch then off down to wander around Jenners and lust after everything I can't afford :rotfl:.
Have a nice day folks and her is a link to the house I am currently in love with.It needs work but would be a forever house. Fingers crossed for the lottery to come up tonight

Well what a lovely wee afternoon. Had a nice posh leisurely lunch with a great friend. We then wandered slowly round Jenners and looked at everything we couldn't afford to buy and I don't think we stopped talking the whole time. It was grand. We put the world to rights and laughed our socks off. Perfect
and all for the princely sum of £21
. Canny really afford £21 but was worth every penny for the chill out time.
We had a long chat and she is a bit skint just now as well as me and she asked me how the h*ll I managed as I had at least £1200 less than her each month to live on. I just laughed and said 'cos I never buy anything' She thought about it for a minute or two and said 'you're right you don't' Isn't it funny that she hadn't noticed that until I pointed it out. It just shows you can be frugal and no-one really needs to know. So I have now dragged her onto the frugal wagon and she will take notes :rotfl:.

Glad you have had a nice day and had a boost by realising no one knows how skint you are. Frugal but fabulous!!

Hmm DS may have no interest in clothes as a norm but he knows what he wants when he has to get them . 1pair of Vans, 1pair Voi joggers and 1 pair Puma joggers later and I am £65 down. Never mind I bought through quidco and also got free delivery and this was from the rebate I got for his headphones so not too painful. Still need to get him a couple of plain t-shirts and he will be dressed for his wee trip.
I was thinking that there are still 10 days until end of month and got a wee bit panicked about whether I would get to end of month okay. I went and took a wee freezer inventory and I have at least 37 meals in freezer so I reckon I'll be okay :rotfl:. I get antsy if I have less than 2 full freezers
Just saw on the budget that I am getting a big fat 1% rise this year. How lucky am I? Oh but wait I am also going to have to pay more for my pension that I'll be dead before I can claim it. Grumpy now :mad::mad::mad:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
