  • PLMBL I love it. I am looking at it all the time. Showed everyone in work it today :rotfl:. I would absolutely have a chandelier in that front room 100% :D

SBO you threw me a bit with that question and the only answer I could come up with was stuff for the kids :o. I will have lessons to learn when the day comes that I have some cash. Would maybe have bought a wee bottle of Prada Milano as it is gorgeous but pricey.

Today was a spendy one. Went to ASDA ang got DS 3 tops for his trip. Then got him 2 fleeces from trespass. Still, I have kitted him out for just over £100 so all in all not too bad :D.

Then I came home and *drumroll moment* my CSA has been assessed. I am to get £31 per week :j:j:j:j. How exciting is that. Also he has added approx £1k to his arrears ( !!!!). Wouldn't it be wonderful if he just gave me a lump sum for them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Will probs pay a couple of weeks then jack in his job.But hey ho it would be fab if he just knuckled under and got paying for a change. I will not be putting it into my purse but will be using it initially to save for the bribe I will need to pay DS when he gets his standard grade results in August and then it will be getting paid directly off of my CC debt. So keep your fingers crossed for me folks that he pays up this time. I think they are going for it direct from his wages anyway :D. Scared to feel pleased about it but I am pleased anyway as this will irritate him big time :j. He'll probs have to pay some arrears as well each week :rotfl:. Such fun !!

I actually bought myself something today . The Dorothy Perkins shop in our centre is closing and loads of things are in their sale. I got a pair of jade chinos for £7 and a bag to match for £3. Check me out .

I hope everyone is well xx

  • Well we will see whether any money actually appears :rotfl:but one can only hope. If he does pay then I will hopefully continue to manage the payments at the level I am at just now. If not then I will definitely struggle as it is hard going. Never mind I do enjoy a challenge :D

  • This is the stuff which puts fire in our bellies and steel in our backbones. No one got tough from an easy ride.

And now, Mit of ben Lomond, off you go into the gloamin. Its probably foggy as I am imagining it is as its grey here.

Hope he pays up and well done for bagging sales bargains. Nice to have new things for your social outings x

  • No fog just snow, snow and more bloody snow. Doesn't it know it's spring?? It's time for the snow to do one :rotfl:.

Nice wee evening in store. Unfortunately a funeral first then out to dinner and then off to a 40th birthday party. Wasn't going to go for dinner as will be expensive for the 3 of us then I thought YOLO ( you only live once ) so we are going. It's going to be a difficult and sad weekend for us all and whatever we need to do to get through it then that's what we will do. It's a family party tonight so no doubt we will raise a glass to my Mum who's 70th we would be celebrating this weekend if she was still here. My weekend will be full and I will be surrounded by friends and family so unfortunately it may be a costly one but hey ho. Have a great night folks. I am going to be red head tonight and I better go wash it off afore it falls out :rotfl:

  • I am remembering why I don't like drinking very often. So ill :rotfl:. Never mind I had a good wee night and that'll be me for ages again no doubt.

Had to work this morning and the snow here is horrific. Roads were not too bad thanks to good work y the council but the drifts were huge and journey was slightly hairy at times. We made it though. Came home and went to Iceland and spent my wages on some more food :rotfl:Just what we need :o not!!

I'm supposed to be going out tonight but feel so fragile I may give it a miss.

Got home from work at 2.15 and house was like a tip. DD had not lifted a finger other than to bake a cake for her friend. She had called us to ask me to bring in flour and eggs. When I came in and saw the mess I went ballistic. I mean seriously!! she was upstairs with her boyfriend and was just waiting on me to provide the goods for her to cook. Cake was half cooked when she decided she was going to make another cake , which meant another half hour with the oven on and twice the ingredients ( that I have bought) and I just saw red. Told her no bloody way and refused to let her do a second cake. She wasn't talking to me anyway for daring to say anything in front of her BF about doing nothing in the house. Time she learned that life is not all about take take take. So tonight she wants picked up from the party and taken to a club and I am just going to tell her to get a taxi. Until she starts pulling her weight in this house then all favours are finished as far as I am concerned :mad:

Hi mit glad you had great night and plenty to drink even though your suffering now but like you say yolo , yes your right about your dd they have to learn its not all about taking and getting stroppy and i dont laeou telling her to get a taxi ive started being stricter with my kids aged 15 and 17 as my dd bedroom is a pigsty and she ad the cheek to ask me to redeorate it all including new bed and she wants it all from next. , i told her no way as she isnt looking after her room now so shes not talking to me today lol i dont care shell get over it enjoy rest of your weekend its snowy here in colchester also weird for march isnt it x::j
  • Kitty they just take the mick sometimes . She had the cheek to say to me that she had been really really busy. She had done 1 load of washing ( was still in the machine btw) she had tidied her room, she had had a shower, done her tan, washed her extensions and dried her extensions. Sll with a look of sheer indignation on her face. You can just imagine my reply to that. Selfish little madam. We'll see how she likes me being selfish on Monday when I go in to work early and leave her to get a bus . She will learn the hard way .

I am shattered now but am going to get ready and go out for a wee while and see a band with my brother and SIL. Have a good Saturday folks xx
