Glad you enjoyed last night and hope tonight is fab too.
I think you are handling the situation with DD right. I know it's not quite the same, but I banned DS1 from his xbox last night and his behaviour since has been impeccable. Sometimes they need a short sharp shock XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I give DS plug bans which means he is not allowed to use anything with a plug and it drives him crazy. Works like a charm though every time.
Tonight was fab. Wee rock band but nothing too heavy. Bon jovi, Bruce Springsteen , Fleetwood Mac etc etc. My brother was videoing them as it was their first acoustic set and we just went along to keep him company. I love random nights like that. Good music, good company and no hangover tomorrow.
Home now and thinking about my wee Mum. It's her birthday today. Been feeling it all week and been narky and moany with everyone. I've eaten and drank way too much and spent way too much but that's my way of dealing with things. Hopefully once I get by this weekend things will settle and get back to normal. I need to get back on the straight and narrow for a number of things.
Hope you all had a lovely evening. And I didn't pick DD up but she has been sending me wee texts all night. No doubt she will be much better tomorrow.

Hi folks. I've actually had a lovely wee day. Was up a lot during the night with my usual tummy trouble when I am stressed  but lay in bed until about 11 and got up ready to start my day.
I was picked up by my brother and we went and got flowers for cemetery and then went and met up with Mum's friends from Tasmania. I was really dreading that but it was fine.It was fabulous to see them. We went up to the cemetery and it was freezing but we ran out of vases there were so many flowers. There were plants, wee ornaments, hundreds of flowers and wee posies. Such a lovely sight to see and made me feel blessed to have had her as my Mum. So many people thinking about her was so so special to me. We then went and had tea with her friends and we all went to my Aunties for dinner. We laughed all day and it wasn't sad at all. I have shed a few tears but all in all it was okay. Another first over.
So tomorrow I will pull myself together and get back on the straight and narrow. Am actually looking forward to it5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Thanks guys
Back to work today but 4 day week this week and also payday:D. Just did all my sums for the month and I overpaid by £11.37  considering I had loads of overtime money that is just rubbish. Been a stressful month though and I do tend to lose my way a bit when I am stressed. So belts will be tightened and I will be massively organised for the month of April. I'm starting early.
So tonight I have a pot of soup on. I have made savoury rice for DD and I for lunch tomorrow. I have made 6 tubs of sugar free jelly for us for lunches for this week. I am determined because if I don't watch carefully my DFD will slip. My monthly payments are only £223.82 per month now which is a HUGE reduction as they used to be nearly £600 . Now this is fab and means that if things ever changed drastically for me then I could afford the payments. However my snowball is £590 per month and I need to find the excess to make it up. I do this with any money left from my wages, my second job and any additional money I manage to get my hands on. It's a bloody struggle but I am determined to get there. I'm not going to try and pay any more than £590 the next couple of months as I need a wee bit money to take DS to the caravan and also I will let DD off with her digs money when she goes away to Florida so I will need a wee reserve. I can use the wee holiday as an excuse to tighten up again.
Hopefully CSA will come up trumps with the money and also some money towards the arrears.
Good news though. DD's college class need a house to power wash that has pebble dash and woohoo they are coming to do mine on Thursday. It will look much better once they have finished and all it will cost me is a cake
. So pleased.
So I'm going to knuckle down and work hard again at getting the money together for this and I might just do some surveys etc again5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

A cake is good currency. Or should that be currantsy?
A steely resolve young Mittens. Thats what is needed and you will get there. xxTrying to shift that debt!0 -
Aww poor DS. His trip to Wakefield next week has been cancelled as the snow is so bad that the place they were staying is inaccessible . I spent loads on clothes for him as well . Bloody snow. Here in Scotland we always get snow but we are not too bad just now. It's awful in some places. Such a shame.
Anyway. I have managed not to spend anything today. I had to give DD money but I haven't actually spent anything. Day 1 of the new me :rotfl:. I was also trying to be fab on diet until my boss put an easter egg on my desk and it was finished within an hour and it hardly touched the sides
:o. Never mind. I am trying and will return to slimming world tomorrow and get on it properly.
I made a huge dish of lasagne tonight so this has fed us tonight and I have 3 portions to freeze so that's great. Whilst oven was on anyways I have put a stew into it and that should get me 2 nights dinners as well. We will have one lot tomorrow night and one will be frozen. I will try and get a week's worth of frozen homemade meals and they will do in the last week of the month. This should hopefully mean a very cheap month of shopping for me . Fingers crossed anyway.
Not much else to report to be honest. Busy day at work and I really need to get the ironing done now so a busy evening in front of me too. Hope you are all safe and warm love from me xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
