Matymoo spooky right enough. One of my friends told me today that I must have had wind :rotfl:horrible man :rotfl:.
My dream home is not too far from me either. A couple of years ago the kids and I delivered the yellow pages locally and had to go into the wee area, there are 4 houses in a gated enclosure- very exclusive, and I fell in love then. But hey ho if I'm having to deliver the yellow pages for extra cash then it is highly unlikely that I will ever live there. Never mind I can dream.
I have been offered overtime and for the first time in years I can do it. I only get £12 or so from tax credits now each week so I am really thinking of withdrawing my claim and taking any hours I can get overtime wise. So I am working tomorrow night but am out the rest of the week so couldn't do any more than that unfortunately.
So I have no money but who cares xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
:j first night's overtime under my belt. Should get about £40 clear for that
, I am getting a bonus in September apparently as well so I hopefully things are looking up a bit for me. I have not spent any money since Sunday except DS's lunches so I am getting back on the wagon. I have an expensive weekend coming up though ,
It's my brother's Silver wedding anniversary party on Saturday night and I am helping to pay for it . I am lucky to have a fab brother and sis in law so I am very happy to spoil them a bit as they are always doing it for me. I have ordered them a cake and I am off to Costco on Thursday for party food and drink. Do I have any money for this Erm............Nope, Never mind I'll do it somehow. I can overdraw and pay back later on.Not very MSE but I need to do this for them in mu Mum's absence
.
Am tired now as been out since 7.30am until 8.45 and it's catching upon me. Hope everyone is well xx

Whizzing congratulations on the 25 years. I only lasted 14 and that was a struggle :rotfl:. Back pain is fine and dandy now thanks and hopefully stays that way.
Nice wee early finish for me today. Left work at 3.30. Was in at 7.30 this morning mind you so I still managed a full day. I am back on form work wise and I have almost reached my target for the week already. I have been struggling for months to reach this so it just goes to show how distracted my mind was when I was looking after my mum. I feel so much less stressed now. I am sad and miss her but I am so glad the worry is over now.
My brother and I are off, with a few other people, to aspecial church service tonight in Glasgow where my mum will be included in their prayers so that'll be a nice wee peaceful evening. Just need to get a quick change and wait on him picking me up.
I ended up buying lunch today. Wish I hadn't bothered as it was minging as usual:eek:. In my defence I wanted a baked potato as I had a craving for carbs but there were none so I just had macaroni and chips and a twix
So a nice wee evening ahead of me and I'll have a healthy meal when I get home later.
Decided we will sell a monitor we have and a tv that dd will no longer be using as she has my mum's big one now. I will use the money to get her television up on her wall and anything left will go towards her new bed.
Things are starting to look a wee bit better. Well for today anyway xx

Another one here who 'treats' herself to lunch sometimes and is always disappointed. We obviously set too high a standard :rotfl:.
You're sounding more chipper missus, good show :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

:mad:just lost a huge post  My chirpy mood has chirped off.
My brother, my aunt, 2 friends of mine and I went to a special mass tonight as my Mum was being prayed for by a special prayer group. It was very emotional but it was a lovely experience and we got a lot of comfort from it ( although I cried my eyes out) I got home about an hour ago and my brother called me within 5 minutes.
My mum took out a loan for him for a car as his credit rating was sh*t. We have called the loan company 3 times and been reassured that he can take over the debt and that would be that. He has even paid it for this month. He has come home tonight to a letter from them looking for details of the assets from mum's estate as they want it paid to the debt. Now we have obviously been completely naive here and have never considered this loan as Mum's debt and always as my brother's debt but it looks as if every penny we have left will have to be paid to this loan. This means that the £3.5k I would have got has just been snatched from my hand. I dunno whether to laugh or cry at the incongruity of it all. My poor brother is in bits about it all although I am desperately trying to calm him down and say s*d it, it's only money
So no new beds etc for the kids, <Sweary words sweary words>. Story of my effing life. <more sweary words beginning with F and B>
