Hi folks. I've pretty much decided to get what I need. Life is too short
. I've already got one of the guys in work arranging for a handyman to come and quote me for the outside jobs. I am going to get him to sort out my garden as well as it has just got beyond me and the weeds are a riot. I cook all the time from scratch and I really enjoy it so I am going to get a nice spanking new oven. I think I will get the carpet cleaned first and see how it comes up and I will get the kids their beds.
DD is desperate to start using her new decorating skills and overhaul the whole house. I am going to let her loose on my bedroom initially and see how she gets on with that. I have lovely green Laura Ashley type wallpaper for one wall and she can paint the rest of it pale green with white paintwork. I have a beautiful green patchwork quilt that I bought my mother years ago and it will be perfect on my bed. I'm quite excited about it all to be honest as it is very rare where I can do anything in the house. I have totally lost the love for my home so this just may bring it back
.
First week of work over and wasn't too bad.I met all my new targets so all is well. I've cleaned downstairs in my house tonight and 2 loads of washing so far. I am just about to run the hoover round and then give the floors a quick mop.I can kick back after that. Happy Friday everyone xx5 Year plan. Sorry for your loss, unfortunatly I lost my mom 16 years ago (wow where does the time go) and it does get easier but then there are still things that break your heart when you dont expect them too, even now.
I havent read your past diarys but may go back and catch up and ill tag along for the ride if thats ok?

Hi savesummore. Welcome to my musings and come have a blether any time
.
Busy wee day today but am now sitting on my fat a$$. Worked this morning. Really couldn't be bothered but needs must. Then went to Aldi and spent £41 but got loads including a yummy looking beef joint for tomorrow's dinner. Then came home and did washing ( as sun is shining) and some ironing. So I am now on my a$$ as I said. I'm going to chill and try and catch up a bit on here and motivate myself again.
Everything is paid this month but I am in my overdraft. I am going to try and spend the absolute minimum I can until the month end but I have very little coming in on a weekly basis nowadays. It's down from £175 per week to £33 :rotfl: yay lucky me ( sarcasm sarcasm) . Life is very unrealistic just now though so I will just try and live on what I have coming in and go from there.
Been on healthy eating since Monday and still feeling quite positive about it so fingers crossed I can keep it going a while.
Have a great Saturday folks xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

My dream home for when I win the lottery. Am in love love love with it
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-23924739.html
Only spent a couple of pounds today for church collection. My brother and I go to mass on Sunday together and then the cemetery. I was there yesterday as well. The headstone has been all cleaned and looks beautiful. It is all ready now to add my mum onto it. When we were in church today someone poked me in the back. When I turned round there was no-one there. Now my liver is sore today despite my healthy eating so I just thought it was something to do with that but 2 minutes later it happened again . There was no-one in the row behind me and then they started singing my Mum's favourite hymn, which we had had at her funeral. It's called 'Lord, you have come to the seashore' and of course I was in bits. Some days my grief is overwhelming and unfortunately today is one of them. I'll feel better tomorrow but today I am sad and sore so just want to get to bed ASAP.
That's why I started looking at property and found my dream home. I needed cheered up.
Due to my liver pain I have had tomato soup for my dinner instead of the roast beef dinner I was going to make. Kids had chicken burgers :rotfl:. Poor souls but they were quite happy and burgers are on DD's list of can cook ( well heat up ). Everyone is roasting and I have a blanket and a hot water bottle. Never mind I'm sure my liver will settle or I'll puke :rotfl:either way I'll feel better. Happy Sunday xx

Sorry about the pain
Spooky that you were being poked in the back & nobody was behind you, some of us would say it was your Mum making sure she knew you were in the church
Your dream home is not too far from where my Mum grew up on Loch Long. From being a wee girl she would come on the train from Glasgow to Gourock, catch the ferry to Kilkreggan and walk home to Cove. We threw some of her ashes off the ferry:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0
