I'm now off of work for 9 whole days :j:j:j:j
Working at cleaning tomorrow then home to start lifting flooring, Sunday am heading to Glasgow with DD and my friend. Need to get an outfit that I can bling up for DD's awards ceremony and then dress down for my interview. Am going to get a dress and jacket I think or perhaps a trouser suit. Something will jump out at me I'm sure. I need to see if I can get my hair cut at some point as well as it is a wreck. All going to cost me money!!
Very excited about other news though. Looks like I can get my fees paid to continue my open uni course. They will help pay fees for part time courses if you have a ppersonal income of > £25 I am just under but should qualify. I am so so happy about that, I have 180points so far so I am halfway to a degree but I would love to finish it once and for all.
All is good here except weight and cash but I will get control of that ASAP. Hopefully can see what I am doing with both by end of next week.

Just read my last post. Obviously meant to say under £25k and not under £25 :rotfl:. I'm skint but not that skint.
Was at work today with DS and earned £32.50. Unfortunately the bad spending gene took over and I spent £8 on carp, then £11 on mcD's. Told kids that was final treat as need to get knuckled down. They are okay with this and DD said 'don't worry Mum, you are really good at paying stuff off' I wish I had her confidence. But I will, I will, I will get started next weekend and pay off my cleaning money again every week. I swore to myself that I would never ever use the cleaning money to live on. I hate doing that job and swore I would only do it to pay off the debt and for the last few months I have used it for other things as I have taken my eye off of the ball somewhat. Time to get my eye back on the ball. I need to make some purchases this week and we are going away but I will be as frugal as I can and go from there.
I am actually looking forward to getting things sorted out. Quite excited xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Afternoon folks. Been in Glasgow all day and am knackered. My poor feet are agony. But wahey I got an outfit for awards ceremony. I got dress black trousers and a pale grey sparkly chiffon top. I already have a bag and shoes that will suit, so I am good to go. Took DD for lunch as she had the hangover from h ell :rotfl:. I also got new make up as mine is finished. I got a free mascara too. No other spends except in supermarket.
DD is having a nap whilst waiting on her dinner and then she will paper DS's bedroom. I have all day tomorrow whilst they are at school and college to get everywhere else sorted out. Tonight I will do the ironing etc and at least tomorrow I can concentrate on just getting everywhere ready for the carpet fitters on Tuesday. Am very excited for it all to come together and then Wednesday we are offski to Leicester. Great wee week ahead..
Hope everyone is having a smashing day xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Dear God in Govan I have not stopped since 7am. Will be so worth it though. Still some to do before kids get home and then they can sort out their rooms. We will have the absolute minimum in our rooms tonight. DD didn't get DS's room done last night as she fell asleep. She says it will only take an hour anyway so she can do it tonight when she comes home from college
I have the vintage channel on whilst I am working and it is so good. Loads of lovely memories. Earlier when I was clearing out some space in my wardrobe I found a carrier bag all tied up. I opened it and my Mum's cardigan was in it. Oh my the smell of her from it just overwhelmed me and I was a teary snottery mess. I am missing her so so much just now.I think it's because so much is happening in my life, and all nice things, and I can't tell her. Makes me feel a bit lonely to be honest and that is just silly as I have loads of friends and I have the kids but I have no-one who is just as interested as me in all the trivialities of my life . I have folks who will listen about it but my Mum was like my 'other half' in that sense as she was so involved with my world. Got on my nerves at the time but how I miss it now. Never mind, I'm sure she knows and is telling anyone who will listen all about us and what we are up to
.
Anyway, hopefully a NSD but I need to lift £280 to pay carpet fitters tomorrow so that's a sore one. Never mind as I am sure it will all be worth it in the end5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

I ache in places I never knew existed . Nearly done now though. Am heading to the skip and then I will help the kids with their rooms. Got phone call to confirm delivery 100% tomorrow as they have rushed the job through for me. I am delighted as when we come home on Friday it will be so nice to walk into the house all done
. Happier MIT now
