Hi, just wondering if anyone can help, I've just doubled up £25 worth of vouchers to get £50 to buy some lego for my son I've got the codes and its let me put £40 worth in but says the last £10 e-coupon is not applied - (its not saying the code is incorrect) - I cant find anywhere that says there is a £40 limit on vouchers - I've had a quick scan here as well but cant find anything - could anybody advise??? Thank you
Yes, easy - you have put too many vouchers in. Although you do not say what the total value of the order. I suspect it is under £50.00 - you cannot over pay. The system is not set up to give change either in value or points, hence it refuses to except the fifth voucher. It wouldn't matter if you had £100.00 in vchrs, and the item/s equalled £99.99 - it won't work.
As it's Lego seems simple enough to add some more so the final £10.00 won't be wasted.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
Doh!! Thank you so much yes - I put in £50 to pay for something at £47 and some pence thinking that the difference would be refunded back to my points - thanks so much - ah well off to spend another £10 hmmmm what do I need!!0

So...what happens if I return an item I've used double vouchers for? Giftcard?0

Still isn't working for me after a week or so of trying. They keep saying they have a problem and will sort it.
But I assume some people here are sorting them out online fine?0 -
I ordered a phone early on and had no problems but then tried to order a hedge trimmer last week and it was a nightmare. I entered my codes OK but the final screen wouldn't let me pay. Rang and emailed Tesco loads of times - told something different by everyone I spoke to - passed back and forth on the phone but eventually got it sorted at the end of the week - they cancelled the voucher codes and gave me a gift card code. I did ring them several times on this temporary freephone number (0800 0721 649) which was set up specifically to deal with problems with the exchange, but I'm not sure if it's still live.0

When I bought something I was told that if I exchanged it then I could spend the full value, ie £102, but if I asked for a refund then I would only get the voucher total back, ie £50 plus any cash paid.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm so !!!!ed. Trying to get this to work and problem with the codes online?! Anyone else? Plesae tell me this isn't just me? Such a joke. I want them to give me a gift card. I've gone through the same thing...4 !!!!!!! times!! I'm annoyed!! *GRRRR* And I work for Tesco...!!!!!!.
If I do ask for a return, I'll probably want an exchange anyway, so I hope they'd honour it...but IDK. We haven't received any documentation from head office on the reutrns policy for items purchased with the double up scheme *sob*0 -
Just wondered if anyone can help.
I have clubcard vouchers which will run out in July of this year. I had saved them for the double-up scheme in the hope they would include either TVs or have mobile phone's I'd be at least sort of interested in. Neither have happened so I have my clubcard vouchers left.
I don't want to use them but am thinking if I could double them up the next time they do this I may have better luck, but again, they are going to run out in just over a month's time.
I was trying to think of a way around this and wondered if I doubled them up then didn't use them, and therefore Tesco put the vouchers back onto my clubcard, would this mean the expiry date is then pushed further back so I could use them next time? Or do I lose them?
You should phone up customer services and ask for your vouchers to be transferred to the Christmas savers club, this is what I did last year when mine were about to expire. They will then send you the vouchers again in December with a long expiry date on.0 -
How long does it take to get an email double-up voucher code? I know I did this last year to get a couple of ipods, but I can't remember how long it took. I have exchanged a voucher to buy a couple of items of clothing and need the voucher before the items go out of stock.0
