Perhaps it depends on what kind of day they are having!!;)
To be fair to Tesco the scheme does seem to have improved. At one time not even the staff knew exactly what was included. I suggested to the the guy at Direct that I spoke to, that it would be helpful to put beside each item on line if it was included and now they do.
All I would like them to do now is not end items with 9.97 and to not have to enter 60 codes like I did yesterday. Surely the system could issue a code for £20, £30, £40 etc.?0 -
Ok so I lost it and rang through to Cs and just pressed 1? Got through and they put me through to another lady in tesco clubcard - she can see my codes but direct are not answering? So they are to ring me back ! Scundered is an understatment !!!!
Will keep you informed but I wouldn't bother ringing direct as they are not answering !
Ok so eventually got through to Tesco Direct who have informed me that the website is down and anyone having trouble with their codes have to ring up to have them reactivated. I've been holding for hours and I have to wait 24hours to get the codes to work? Flippin Tesco - offer great deals and then can't handle the demand !:mad:0 -

Unfortunately even if you are quite happy to forgo say 3p on a £19.97 item with £20 of vouchers, the vouchers simply wont scan. A strange thing, and rather annoying but sadly how it works.
Hi,
I was given 3p change from double up coupons last year. I doubled up £10 of coupons for toys, when i paid for them 1 of the toys had been reduced (which i didn't know about) so the total to pay was £19.97. I handed over the coupons and the SA scanned them and gave me 3p change.
Nothing was mentioned that i should have spent over £20 to use the double up coupon.

You were very lucky as every time I have doubled up I have been told it must not come to less than the amount of the voucher.
I remember some people last time being allowed to buy a bag for life to make it up to the amount.0 -

According to Tesco:
The minimum voucher amount you can exchange is £5, this can be made up of smaller value vouchers. There is no limit to the amount of vouchers you can exchange. If you use a higher value Clubcard voucher, any change will be credited back to your Clubcard account.0 -

You are confusing the two. What you quote refers to the clubcard vouchers.
We are talking about once you have doubled up and actually use the codes/coupons,not when you exchange your voucher to get the double up codes/coupons.0
