It states in the t's & c's it is until 20th July

Thank you I looked everywhere and still couldnt see it. Not sure if I should wait much longer though as things are starting to go out of stock already and they haven't even broken up yet.

For wide feet, you can't beat Clarks due to their wide fitting option. If you really can't afford these, my wide footed boy has Tesco school shoes and finds them so comfortable that I have to keep mithering him to take them off when he gets in!

I never have to replace his shoes between sizes either - and he spends all playtime running.

My only qualm is availability - there's never any left, so be sure you get them early :)

Good luck to your little boy! When I sent mine off, I was so upset I was sick :o but you get used to it very quick and he will be off having the time of his life!

    Thanks pinkladymel,
My husband n i will both b physically sick when we drop him off, the first 2 weeks prents r welcomed, but not for then onwards. How can people cope? I will be patting around the house biting my nails! What happen if he got bully, or teacher can't understand him, crying because he can't find us? Scary :(

Often, we don't realise it.. but our pain is not entirely because of how much we will miss them. It's more about being scared they will miss us. Will he think you've abandoned him? Will he be scared? What gems am I missing out on?

The only way you can answer these questions is to give it a go - and have faith because kids are so much more mature and brave than we give them credit for. Try to focus on the positives. Reception is one big play time, it was nothing like I imagined. There were drawers and drawers of fun and wonderful things to discover. He will make friends and feel independant and confident. He will receive a lot of dedicated attention from people who are experts at looking after children.

There should be an open day? Go along and the more you familiarise yourself, the quicker you will feel more comfortable.

My friends always count down the time to the kids holidays and dread it.. then count down the days till they go back because they're sick of them. I'm always the odd one out - I can't WAIT to have my kids home! With that said, I can hand on heart tell you that my kids skip happily to school and I don't feel any sadness or worry anymore.. and I didn't from about day 2!

Have faith, be strong and get excited - he's a big boy now :D

Oh don't get too upset, when we took our little boy to nursery for the first time we had braced ourselves for tears, tantrums and trauma (mostly from us), but he took one look at the toys and other kids, and ran off without even saying goodbye, the nursery nurse had to fetch him wiggling and squirming to get a kiss bye bye lol. We went home and counted the seconds but he never looked back once, not once, he was away on life's great adventure :)

He's the same now, drop me at the gates and I'll see you when I see you.

that is so true my sons were the same, it is still hard though eh. my eldest started senior school last year and i felt sick to the stomach when i dropped him off the first day horrible feeling incase he got beat up, still worry now if he's 5 mins later home than usual :D. i personally found it easier on the first day of primary school.
have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving

I agree with it being scary - I cried non stop when my first started pre-school, but had no need to worry - he loved it! He is starting Primary two now and really enjoyed 'big school.' My second is off to reception in September and am not nearly as worried as I know it's for the best and he can't wait! I think it's parents who stress kids out by putting our own anxieties onto them but we have to let go and let them grow.

free uk standard delivery if you spend at least £25 before discount. In other words, you can spend £20 after discount to get free delivery.

edit: just did a test basket and my order before discount came to £25. Final total after discount was £20 and it qualified for free delivery.
