Agree with everyone, unless it's been stored badly (ie, you haven't had it in the fridge) it'll be fine for another day or so. Trust your nose!0

I have an unopened packet of bacon in the fridge that went out of date on the 7th oct (2 weeks ood). it looks ok and the packet hasn't inflated, would you think it's ok to eat?0

As a general rule, use by dates are strict, while best before dates are much more relaxed (except with eggs).

Open it and try it! I would definitely try it. You will know if it is off.
I have eaten yogurt and eggs 2 weeks after best before date and they were perfectly OK. Bacon is usually very salty so it inhibits bacteria.0 -
It's been cured, which is a form of preservation. It's in a sealed pack. It's been in the fridge.
Personally, I'd give it the sniff test. If you don't pass out, use it. If you do pass out, throw it away when you come round.
If you do use it, just make sure it's cooked thoroughly. This isn't difficult to do with bacon and you ought to do it with anything you cook anyway.If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?
