Hi,
I have been in debt for a while now wiht the usual things, loans, card, ect... and was always just about keeping my head above water with my job getting a steady wage.
Recently my Mum passed away and this has now made me go under, due to a lot of additional expenses I was not counting on. So I have asked for help. I am speaking to the National Debt Line and have now a file with them. They have also set me up with a CASHFlow account, so hopefully this will all help.
Filled in my CHASFlow file and now waiting to get hold of the NDL to confirm, but finding it a bit tricky getting hold of someone again. Left them a couple of voicemails, but still waiting on a reply.
But once this has started, I am hopeing to get all my creditors to agree to my plan and pay them off.
I will keep you informed here on how I get on.

Spoken to my advisor and have been referred to the CCCS and they will run my debt management plan.
Let's hope the paperwork gets sorted soon, so they can start working on this to assist me.

Returned my paper work yesterday and now waiting for confirmation of what will come next. Feel very edgy that something is going to go wrong (ever the pessimist)
Still trying to get through to CCCS to ask some questions, but can never get through. Bless these guys, they must be so busy helping fools like me through it everyday...Debt free from January 2019 - Paid off £31,161.70 in 7 years.10 year anniversary0 -

Well done you, especially at such a difficult time.

Please do as we are all in this together, some for the long haul and others nearing the end of their journey. Mine is in its early days and I have good and bad days and I find that posting on here, even if just talking to myself, I feel that little bit better. Good luck with CCCS x
