Getting fed up with the contstant phone calls and they never ever leave a message. Now they've started texting me all the time and this is really annoying.
Have advised them once what is going on and really don't want to keep repeating me. Most of the calls are from Indian callcentre's who don't even understand what I am talking about and talk to me like i'm a criminal. But I will perservere, as they can't have what I haven't got!Debt free from January 2019 - Paid off £31,161.70 in 7 years.10 year anniversary0 -

2nd Payment has now been taking, so I feel like it has all properly started now.
Also received the first transfer from my AMEX card. They have transfered the debt onto another company. I have made CCCS aware, so they can change where the payments go.Debt free from January 2019 - Paid off £31,161.70 in 7 years.10 year anniversary0 -

Halifax sent me a statement with the following words: Estimated intrest on next bill: 0%.
So I assume they have also reduced intrest to 0%..Debt free from January 2019 - Paid off £31,161.70 in 7 years.10 year anniversary0 -
Ok, have now had some further letters from creditors all agreeing to the reduced payments. That currently leaves 2 creditors who have not yet replied or confirmed and are still sending me daily letters and calling me a few times a day.
They are Very (catalogue) and Barclays (for my bank loan)..
Barclays have agreed to accept the lower payments for my overdraft, so I can only hope they will contact me soon to agree the loan, I hope.. (They haven't got a choice really, as this is all I can afford to pay them..!)
I have also started a big file with all the paperwork in it. As it keeps everything togheter and I have an immediate overview.
I also send all my letters as scans to the CCCS and they have been fantastic so far, really great people! Could not have done all this without them, as I do feel a bit better, knowing that they are on my side...
Will post next update when I hear back from Very and Barclays..Debt free from January 2019 - Paid off £31,161.70 in 7 years.10 year anniversary0 -
So far one creditor which doesn't want to play ball properly. Jacamo has advised they will accept my reduced payments, but have then said they will charge £15 for every letter that gets send and will charge me £40 just to allow this to be setup.
So add all this togheter and the cost I'm paying is even more than my minimum amount.. Just don't understand and have emailed them and asked CCCS for help..Debt free from January 2019 - Paid off £31,161.70 in 7 years.10 year anniversary0 -
Sorry to hear about your Mum and I'm glad you're on the path to getting this sorted and the phone calls have stopped. All my current debt is up to date but I still feel sick when the post comes or I get a call from an unlisted number.
Jacamo sound horrible, hope the CCCS can sort something out as this certainly does not sound like fair debt collection practise. Did you sign a credit agreement with them? If not could you use this as leverage to get them to stop the charges.
Good luck.

Ok, next update.
Halifax have now decided all of a suddon, without a word of notice to again start charging me intrest. So based on their request for minimum payments and the intrest. So now also Halifax wants me to pay a higher amount then I was paying before??
This is now Halifax and Jacamo. I know the CCCS have helped me through some seriously tough times and I know these companies have every right to do what they want until they have their money paid back in full. but this is starting to make me feel really stressted and worried again, as I know I can't afford to go back to the way things were going.
Have asked the CCCS for some help and have asked for them to call me next week, as I have tried a few times, but never get through.Debt free from January 2019 - Paid off £31,161.70 in 7 years.10 year anniversary0
