I have now moved all of my wages to my new SAFE bank account and have setup my necessity direct debits myself, as I was advised not to let my bank do this for me. Bit of a slugh calling each of my suppliers direct, but had to be done.
Am awaiting my welcome pack from CCCS with instructions on how to pay my 1st instalment.

    Ok, so here we go.

I have now started getting letters from my old bank with the overdraft and loan and from my creditcard companies, all requesting full payment ASAP and the letters aren't nice. Also started receiving 0844 and 0845 calls, but too worried to pick these up.

I have tried to contact all these companies with a standard reply email that I am being helped by the CCCS and am on a DMP.

Really hope the CCCS will assit me with these as this is the first time I have ever done something like this, as I've never had financial issues, until my Mum passed away this year and just took me over the edge...

Have scanned all the letters and have emailed them to CCCS, as I can't get through to them by phone... (Dont think they operate on weekends??)

Now the phone won't stop ringing. They als keep calling me on my mobile, but can blacklist numbers on there, so thats not too bad..

They even called about 10 times today, on a Sunday of all days.. Might think about changing my number... As I assume they then can't track me if I keep it unlisted...

Had confirmation from CCCS that my first payment has been received by them.

Also had a lot of letters from all the creditors advising my old bank has now cancelled all the DD payments and failure to make payments...

I have had some reassurance that the CCCS is on my side, so feel a little better now. Just wish I could be a few months down the line to see how I'm getting on...
