Bossymoo that was good that you got the mums involved with such a tough task, well done.
Been to Mr M and stocked up on bargains. Hoping the rain is passing through here so going to type a couple of bits up and then head tot he garden if it dries out a bit.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I've been doing a bit of dot2dot and it's made a big difference, also on the the third load of washing, fire cleaned out and lit. Rhys now away for a snooze and OH away to football, kids still playing computer games and it's still raining..
Gonna go sort more washing and empty the bins, i'll put the recycling out too. Then i'll make a start on lunch, fingers crossed Rhys will eat some.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
My planned grand sort out has come to a halt, I've had the headache from ***l, and DS is feeling very green & poorly. For such a bouncy boy to voluntarily lie down still and take some magic pink medicine he has to be fairly ropey.
Sad news from a friend, but also some exciting news.
And the soggy grey day is not helping anyone feel brighter....
Time to go cook something tempting,
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Hi all *waves pathetically*
I shall try and do my best this week (thanks for being our leader this week jj - how's your DH now, btw?)
Kitchen day in the Wolf's Lair on Mondays, but I'm afraid I'm collapsed on the sofa.:( I have the sort of excruciating back pain that used to herald the arrival of AF..... but I haven't played host to AF for nearly three years now, so gods know what's going on.:(
Ah well.... Mr LW has kindly S&S'd the bathroom and kitchen, and generally ensured the latter is up to scratch throughout; and he's Dysoned the whole bungalow - and re-done the lounge carpet where Dylan ate his bonio.:D
Bossymoo well done on a good job jobbed; when my friend lost her DH in an industrial accident, she gave loads of his clothes to friends, saying she'd like them to be worn, not languish in a drawer in her bedroom. Mr LW has a fleece and some polo shirts that were D's.
Inspired a little by yourself and Miasnanny I've decided I'd like to make one or two patchwork cushions - I have some old shirts of Mr LW's to make a start. I generally cut worn out shirts up for cleaning rags, but I can keep back some of the best bits for patchwork.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
thanks for the lists, will mostly be concentrating on level 3 today
hope all are wellSPC~12 ot 124

Lamewolf I'm glad you are going to use some of Mr LW 's shirts, make sure he's not still in them though:rotfl: Being a Flylady has given me bags more time for the things I enjoy doing although I don't know that 'enjoy' is the right word for todays sewing!! Made a right muck up of some baby slippers and as they are fleece they are a monkey to unpick:mad:
I check the forum each morning and DH and I decide who is going to do what and when thats done the rest of our day is our own:T far better than the perpetual muddle we used to be in, often with jobs started and not getting finished. Oh I do love Flying wish I'd started a long time ago.0 -

Right. I have been out of the loop far too long and have decided I need to leap back in there. Got a few things to do but hope to get all of today's list done then see how I go!
Need to start somewhere.January Grocery 11/3740 -
I made fleece patchwork duvets formy 2 girls I got them out of the box a couple of weeks ago for Squeak and Dot and Moomin took hers back! lol.. Good job I have lots of bedding!
WM on
Extra child gone home.
OH's mum is having an op tomorrow so OH is being a grumpy so-and-so today.. I can make allowances for it given the circumstances but he is biting the childrens heads off constantly which isn't fair so I am playing placator which I am not very good at.. I hope he isn't worse tomorrow as I may just splat him! He never just says how he is feeling.. it would be so much easier if he just talked through it.. the damage his 'caring family' have done is vast!..
One good thing.. it gets us out of going ther in 2 weeks time.. and I refuse to go in 4 weeks time just days from DD1's due date in case she wants me so it will be at least 6 weeks before we go again!
I'm going to do a quick tesco shop to be delivered and then do dinner.. KH didn't bath the girls so I have that to do before school tomorrow... fairly pointless doing Moomin as she is swimming the next 3 weeks!.. need to sort the bag out for that really..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
