Thanks for the thread Jue - it has exactly what I intend to achieve today on.

Just a quickie, what do you use for S&S? Do you have a cloth for each room?

I have a pile of white j-cloth style cloths I use for the toilets, new one each day and a pile of microfibre cloths which I use for sink, surfaces etc, again new one each day and then traditional dishcloth for washing up and yes you guessed it new one each day. Smelly bacteria ridden cloths are vile, mine all go in the WM

Glad it is an easy one tomorrow. Had the most awful day today :(

Hugs and hope today is better for you.

JJ how is your hubbie now?

Cuppa, shower quick fly and then to the garden.

Need to go to the supermarket later
DS3 off to nanny's for part of the day
    DS2 to cinema later
DS1 who knows but expect it'll involve a golf course

Grass mowed, despite the rain. Can't find my edging shears, which i wanted to use to attack the ground elder. Need to check whether my dad took them away to sharpen or whether they have gone AWOL and I need to buy some more.

Considering going out with the strimmer instead, although I don't really like using it, could also do with doing a bit of work in the flowerbeds at the front. I might give myself until 11 to work in the garden, then come back in and get ready to go out to lunch...

Morning all, it's raining here and looks like it will be on all day. So i'll have to swap a few things around and get the house done today. Hopfully get the garden done tomorrow..:D

    thrifty-gal hope today is better.
Mumto5 hope your DS is feeling better.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Still sunny here but getting cloudier.:mad::mad: One washload out, the next is 90% done in the machine.

I will be in this week, but it's another chaotic one - the A Level photography exam continues ( should be almost over by Friday) so I have to keep DD2 going.

I had several e-mails from the head of year, who has informed all her teachers about her condition ( post-viral fatigue) and has kindly 'agreed' that if she needs to miss the odd lesson she can...( I have told DD2 that quite frankly she can miss lessons if she's tired, whether he agrees or not!)

He was less helpful re the possibility of her taking the exams later - he still doesn't get how concerned i am about her! I have paid for and ordered her sicknote from the GP ( why I have to pay £20 for the gP to write a letter for the girl who doesn't pay for prescriptions is beyond me!!!!!!!!!!!)

Anyway the extra day in this weekend has helped her (more sleep) and her appetite is definitely better than it was a month ago!

In addition to the exam this week DD1 is having her braces fitted on Wednesday. She has had a last blow out on sweets etc and is resigned to the discomfort to come....
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

CY - why do you have to pay for a Fit note? I don't have to, and I'm now on my third consecutive one. Have the surgery explained?

Have been out with the strummer and dealt with the worst of the ground elder, as well as taking the dandelions out of the front bed and moving a few hellebores to the empty bit where we removed a pyracantha and rose. I really hope the weather improves in June and I can get the stuff done in the garden that I need to.

Washing is done, and what can go in the TD is in there. Surface cleaner and washing up liquid have been refilled and the dyson emptied. Need to hoover the kitchen and then put the non-TD stuff on the airer. And then log in to work to print out expenses paperwork and Wednesday's presentation which I need to prepare for :o

All ironing is now done apart from the load that's in the WM and load that's waiting to go in! DH is going to work in about an hour so I need to do veg and stuff before then - I've already cooked the chicken.

Dusty - he's a lot better than he was thanks - He's been on strong antibiotics and painkillers so they seem to be working.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Mumto5 the dreaded remote control! They should carry a health warning. My 2 eldest at the ages of 16 & 18 had a squabble over the remote control. I had a phone call at work from the youngest aged 10 to say that the house was covered in blood, he thought I might want to know:rotfl: I raced home to find a scene that could have come from the Chainsaw Massacre. I had to take both of them to casualty for stitches. I can laugh about it now but at the time I was:mad:

We are well on top of things Flying wise today and I am going to go and get some sewing done. Tea is Chinese Pork and there is a fresh batch of yogurt, so I can relax today:T

We have just converted an outside shed into a chill out zone. Using double glazed units from our local recycling centre, feather edged board also from the reycling centre and we even manaaged to get some insulation blocks there as well. So we are now saving up for some cement just to finish off and some plants for the remodeled garden. We are also saving for a diningroom table and chairs. So will have to keep on being thrifty.:A

I managed to get the grass cut yesterday, then tots to park and to carvery lunch. Wmx1 and kitchen cleaned and shined. I also roped my mum into helping me sort hubby's clothes, and mil is taking them to the hospice sale, with the exception of a few garments I am keeping. Glad it's done.

Today we went to mr s as our phone broke, so bought a new digital duo with answerphone, half price, lovely.

Also found some "freedom" frozen desert, dairy and soya free. Was looking for an ice cream maker, but bought that instead. Just as well as she cried when she realised how cold it was and wanted a fruit cup instead lol.

Dinner made ready for later, about to persuade dd to have a nap, then I can go and start moving more clothes around...

    My own bits are:
Move work clothes into spare room
    Dismantle bed
    Take up carpet
    Dismantle wardrobes
    Remove curtains, blinds
    Sort bedding for CS
