I fell through a small table in the living room today. DS2 had lost a part of a game behind it so I leaned over it and there was a loud cracking noise. Upside the hotspot pile had no where to live so had to be sorted and put away. DS1 didn't bat an eyelid and continued playing on his PS3 even when I asked for help.
Kitchen worktops cleaned and mini dehumidifier listed on fb.

Hope the poorlies get well soon x

Thanks ajmoney! I really should have done that - and will now keep the shredder by the door!

    Perhaps a bonfire tomorrow!!

OK GreenBee - you start packing, or making a list, and I'll start sorting this bed (ironing, Ebay & general assorted dross!) - deal?

    Moam
I missed this, because I was loading CDs onto itunes on my work PC to transfer to the ipad (my ipod keeps lying about how much charge it has) and also transferring some photos so I can send an email from my personal account. On the productive side, I did also manage to get quite a bit of work done and sent off to OH for him to review ... and yes, I did make a list, and have started a pile of stuff for packing, as well as finishing the washing up. How did you get on?
But just realised it it too late again to shred the paper mountain!! It will take hours - how does everyone deal with mountains of paperwork that can't go straight in the bin?
I keep mine under my desk and every time my laptop freezes/I'm on mute and the meeting is really boring, I shred more of the stuff in the basket and stuff it into loo rolls to use as firelighters. I have an old magazine rack basket that I put stuff in that needs shredding. If there isn't much stuff coming in day to day I take stuff out of one of the folders of ancient paperwork that is in the to do file, and add that. When it is empty, I top it up. I realise that this only really works if you work from home... but the basket at least keeps the shredding tidy!

Guess I should head off to bed so I can get up early and pack :(

    Morning All

Aldahbra - don't worry about it - just start from today - it was only a quick wipe over anyway.

Moam - thanks for the pm btw - I did read it just didn't get round to replying.

Internet was playing up a bit last night so I decided to do the list this morning seeing as I'm ususally up before most of you in the morning. Nothing on tonight as far as I know so hopefully I'll manage to complete today's list but tomorrow night I've got a twilight at work until 5.15 then DS has football 6 - 7 then I've got a meeting at 8 until probably 9.30/10ish so I'll have no time to do anything then.

    Have a good day all

Back to work today which isn't good news, but I suppose it has to be done. We're all waiting to hear about jobs/redundancy which is dragging along nicely, it won't be till the end of the month. Just makes for a rubbish atmosphere. I've asked for redundancy but don't know if I'll get it....

On the bright side, the bank holiday means it's one less sleep till Friday :D

Morning all, boy i'm tired this morning. Knew last night that i needed to dry DD's skirt this morning so i think it played on my mind because i had an awful night's sleep.

Af has turned up 2 days early, it's getting silly now because she's always early. Used to be 28 then 26 and now 24...

DD now all ready for school, wm and td both on so i'll go now and gather up more clean, dry clothes and start filling the rads again. Rhys is now full of cold and has red spots on the back of his throat so at least now i know why he stopped eating again. I would think he'll be clingy today so i'll see what i can get done.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Not a huge amount done in the last week or so as a big black cloud has been weighing me down and I've had such odd dreams that seem to hang around all day. Mucho weirdo. Anyway... this is a new week.

Hugs to anyone in pain or in need of motivation :A And valli-vibes aplenty!!
