Best machine I've owned to date - felt the need to treat myself after using laptops for the last 3 years! I'd recommend Overclockers too if anyone is looking to purchase - just beware of the expensive 0845 sales/service lines.0 -

Does my original PC (8086 processor with 32MB of ram) count?
It would only run DOS up to 3.1 (IIRC)
Time has given you overly fond memories! You could just about run Windows 3.0 on Dos 5.5 on a 80286 in 1MB of RAM. The 286 didn't support virtual memory and mine only had 640KB! I had a 40MB HDD with stacker to give about 80MB of space. That was in 1992.0 -

Do you remember the standard 15 minute long casette tapes that it stored the data on as this was in the days before floppy disks existed let alone hard disk drives.
My dad used to bring the TRS-80 home with twin floppy drives built into the monitor. They existed, but home users rarely saw them. I had a BBC model B soon after this and learned to program. :beer:0 -
