    It would only run DOS up to 3.1 (IIRC)

  • I first learnt computer programming on a Commodore PET.
    Do you remember the standard 15 minute long casette tapes that it stored the data on as this was in the days before floppy disks existed let alone hard disk drives.

    ChifGrasscutter - I do, I had a Sinclair ZX Spectrum that used to load from tape and the edges of the screen went stripey. The noise it made was horrendous.
