  • Good Evening all,

Been very busy buying MSE type presents. Football shirts 75% off for the OH. I was very happy with that and some lovely little stocking fillers from sports direct.:rudolf:

The boss is being a bit of a miser though. I brought my Xmas tree into work last year as I didn't want it up in the house. :xmastree:So this year I got a new one and was going to do the same but have now been told we are not allowed a Xmas tree because it's a fire hazard. Hmmph. The safety advisor didn't think so last year. The boss also doesn't want to participate in secret santa and does not want any discussion of the Xmas subject. So we are all rebelling. On 11th December we are going to have a dress your work space competition and so what he says to that. Each desk will also have a fire proof mini tree. Hehe. Feel quite mischevious. ;)

Hiya guys! Picked up mum some perfume 30% off , and a lovely watch with a big clear face on it (her eyes aren't great) .. so just her main to go which is what I need help with!

I am on sick pay since last brain op so very low income I however was going to go halfs with my brother on a laptop for her but I just physically cant afford it at all so I want to get her a kindle

The £69 from Amazon preferably .. I was just wondering if anyone knows any money off codes/vouchers, cash back ect?

Even if I can save a couple of quid it will be a real help! All my brothers presents are wrapped apart 2 , 1 which is awkward shape and the second we havent purchased yet ( a new camera)

gotto start wrapping mums and Goddaughters now. x

Posted a reply earlier, but I've just seen the Argos advert & they're doing the money off voucher when you spend £50 or £100, and as you've got a camera to buy still, that could be useful.

Thanks to all the girls in the Cross Stitch Cafe! You're all fantastic! :A
  • Well considering that someone on here got abused on fb for putting their xmas tree up early/generally being christmassy too early - I went to Primark Liverpool yesterday to get some of that gorgeous reindeer bedding and it has all sold out and they won't be getting any more - so there you go, I've actually been too late for xmas!

I went to the linen warehouse and I've got a snowflake one that is similar and ordered another one for DD as they didn't have any in - but I'm sure there is a lesson there somewhere.

Really enjoying hearing from everyone and all the fab ideas, shares and stories x

There's a nice one on eBay. I think I searched king size snowflake duvet.

    Hi all,

Hope one of you can help? I've been dipping in and out of this thread so think you guys are the best to ask! Please can you recommend some reasonably priced places for me to look for a xmas jumper for my bf? I've looked in Primark and New Look and Tesco and not had any luck so far. Thanks x

I saw a man wearing one last week and asked where he got it, he said Matalan cost £15.

  • Happy Birthday Pinknfluffy, hope you had a lovely day?

Well I managed to get quite a lot done today (although didn't quite manage to package up my nail varnishes :( )

Managed to make santa DVD/Game boxes, Santa money Cards and Santa CD boxes. Also managed to make a very cute gingerbread card bauble and some tags - still have a long way to go, but I'm getting there :)

Just a quick share of some of my makes today :)
