  • Own my Own and Amyturtle. Have a nice time today. Think of me making decs with 7 yr olds. Up to my elbows in glitter! X
  • I hope you have a wonderful time at your meet up today :) Make sure you have lots of festive frolics!

Nanamia, I well and truly have my festive spirit back :) I think my nail varnishes are at the sorting office (postman left a card but DH swears the buzzer didn't go) so I plan to have all 6 nail sets, made and packaged by the end of today! I have some cute gold metallic card that I plan to whip up into some cute boxes for it!

    Right back to work!

Morning all - lovely to see more pics of trees up :D Ive been slaving away at the gym every night after work this week and been so physically tired just about able to eat dinner and do nothing else! (not that Im complaining mind you) So looking forward to the weekend now for a break! Went to bo0ts yesterday and landed myself a new member of staff who took 20 mins to find something only to then have to ask her manager and so got zero time left to actually eat a lunch lol. Found what I need but they are out of stock and told to check back everyday as they have new deliveries everyday so fingers crossed! Also their ck1 is £15.99 for small bottle or £23 for the set. Going to check with debenhams today against prices and see what works out better.

    Have a great day :)

    Xmas Saver!
Ok I need to pick your brains :rotfl:

I am thinking I need a kind of theme for Mumu Bobbins, and I came up with jars.
I am going to do GIFTS IN JARS.:D

    I have -

    Sweets
    Manicure Sets
    Sewing Kits
Nuts (You drive me nuts, But I Love You)
    Snowman Soup
    Cookie Mix

Was thinking of doing kids -make your own finger puppets

Now what else can I put in them ?
(They are normal sized jam jars)

I am now going to get ready for Hearts Delight. I want at least 20 ideas by the time I return :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • OMO - I am making a jar gift for my youngest ds's girlfriend. I've bought a tatty teddy style teddy from pound shop and a small bottle of shower gel. He is going to sit on a heart shaped cushion, which hangs afterwards and I will add some snowman soup and sweets. How about a jar filled with all their fav seets, they look so much better out of the packs.Bath time jat - scrunchie, flannel, shower gel or bubble bath, those little balls of oils.Make up - make up wipes, cotton wool balls, lip salveSewing kit - small scissors, thread, buttons, thimbleStudent - post it notes, pen and pencils, book of stampsRight off now..... just going to look for some more jars....

moneysavingmumofone Im so glad hes feeling better, earache is so horrible!

hot water bottle (or the dog!) always helped me best when I was a kid, was rather dubious about the cold compress myself though the ibuprofen did the job - our gp said that gp's never give their own children anti biotics any more for ear infections as it often clears up itself within 24-48 hours, so now they give you a prescription and ask you to monitor it and only give them if it continues, my DD's went after 24 hours by itself with painkillers - mind you that was about 5 years ago now so the advice they give has probably changed several times since!!

abatha welcome and thank you for the yummy fudge recipe, it looks amazing!

Louise your keyrings are so lovely!

springdreams your trees are so pretty, mine usually ends up looking pretty much the same, though last year I got a fair few new Disney baubles and decs, it looks like Disney on Ice on my tree! will take a pic if I can ever get the software to work to upload to the pc
  • thank you again nanamia - am much more full of beans again today  thankfully cant keep me down for long!! xxx

am going to do some wrapping and put on Arthur Christmas I think, as work all up to date ..or The Holiday ..decisions .. xxx
