Last year it was at Sainsburys, which is on the outskirts of the town and just off the motorway.
This year is was at Tescos, which is on one of the main and busiest roundabouts in the town. It was just a nightmare. The last 3 minute journey took over 30 minutes.
It doesn't help that we have a broken water main by the police station that keeps rendering town even more of a stand still during rush hour.
We didn't bother with it this year we did last year I had only just recovered from being ill and mum was just starting to get ill but we went and queued anyway and I had my picture taken only for my attempts to get my picture from the website to fail and for coca cola to never respond to my emails about it we were so annoyed by how it was all dealt with this year we decided not to bother, we too popped into home bargains this evening. What time?0 -

Half 7. Thought I was going to be rushed, but there was nothing I really wanted.
Got another tree for the ever growing forest, some porridge and some cheap baileys.
Then went to Asda and bought 30 jars of lemon curd. I need the jars for sweets for the bazaar, and they were only 22p each. We all hate lemon curd, so I have no idea what I am going to do with it .:rotfl:
Do you want any ? I can put in other jars, if you think you could use it.
See you in the morning x0 -

My mum loves lemon curd & bought several jars of it the other day! She could trade you lemon curd for empty Douwe Egbert jars! Honestly, that woman gets through so much coffee (on buys it when on offer, though) that every time I visit she tries to send me home with empty jars. They're too good to just chuck out. Might have to make use of them next Christmas for something interesting. Chocolate truffle snowballs, maybe? Or the fudge, which hopefully I'll have perfected by then. Any other suggestions?Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

I thought you were quite Snugglebunny - obviously if there is anything we can do, you kno where we are. It's just so unlike you. And you are doing so well with your Christmas prep. Pick up your festive spirit
xxx
Glad your DS is on the mend moneysavingmumofoneand hoping you get some sleep tonight too.
Springdreams your trees are fab. So organised I wouldn't kno where to look for previous years trees. But I bet Linky does
Linky I think you are probably "overtired" as the famous advert says. It isn't like you to be grumpy! I'm sure having a fab day tomorrow with Amey will cheer you up no end. Have fun. xxx
Feisty hope today went ok, it sounds like you've got your festive spirit back. Go girlxxx
The secret of Christmas

I have recently found you can get nectar points on amazon.co.uk.
http://www.nectar.com/eshops/index.rnectar
I buy a lot from Amazon and one thing going on my joblist is to set up a link to the nectar site so that in future I can click through it to get points.0
